I just wanted to say Thank you for taking the time and experience that you put into your tutorials so that we can see & learn through your success & even the ones that didn't quit turn out like you were hoping... They are all beautiful to me!!
Love that first cup! The glow was eerie...just as it needed to be. The second cup is pretty, too, but lighter than most of your cups. The colors are pretty colors, for sure.
I love the first cup. I watched the same Jupiter cup video and immediately wanted to try it. Now after seeing yours I'm going to have to order some of the glow powder. My biggest stumbling block to trying all the techniques I watch you and other you tubers do...is what to do with all the cups afterward. I don't sell them and few of my friends want them so I end up not making them. Bummer! Love the saying on the second cup ...I will borrow that for a future project. Thanks for another inspiring video.
Thank you!!! Oh, I totally know the feeling of being swamped by cups! But your friends are nuts if they don't want yours 😳. Yes, putting the glow powder in the resin base for an alcohol swirl was inspired, and I'm so glad I caught that video!
I love the 1st one!! The 2nd if it was the same, top or bottom would be gorgeous! ALTHOUGH, the 2nd one would be cool as a stormy sea with how the colors are split from top to bottom. Still beautiful!! Thank you!! 😊
I've had this brand ink in my cart for ages now next time they will mKe the cut just wow I really like the way they behaved on both cup! Gorgeous all the way around!
I love both cups and I really like that the tops are labeled what color they go on to. I can't tell you how upsetting it is when you accidentally put the cap for the black ink on your yellow when your finished lol
That looks so cool. We share the same favorite color pallet. I. I’m going to have to get that set of alcohol inks and then find a project to use them on.
I love that decal...I live alone and I tend to crack myself up at times hahhhaa. These cups came out so pretty!!! I'm really considering getting them. The colors look intense and I like that you discovered that they dry a bit shinny. What a way to start my morning!😍😍
Thanks! Yes, the shine! I really wish the camera had picked that up better, but I loved how they behaved once I realized with the second cup that they didn't want to spread out as much in alcohol as some of the other brands do.
both are very pretty - looks like you used different alcohol inks lol - when I'm doing my crafts - I also talk to myself - Hubby ask who I'm talking to -I say myself - she never argues with me lol - your good I think I may have tried paint brush with a little bit of ink on the white - then it would have been a mess - lol - love how you did it - turned out great
Thanks!! They certainly produced different looking cups, didn’t they?! Me, myself, and I have a grand ol’ time together and get along pretty well … most of the time 🤔🤣
Interesting, these alcohol inks seemed to behave so differently in the waterfall method..: like they wanted to separate. They’re very rich colors but that behavior makes me wonder if they’re not truly alcohol based or maybe a combination of some sort..? 🤷🏻♀️ turned out beautiful regardless! The colors are so nice and strong which I love!
Ok, the cat decal is freaking awesome!! Interesting to see how different alcohol inks react in different techniques! Both cups turned out really pretty!
May I ask if you mind sharing your mix ratio of the Bronze and alcohol? I can't find the video you shared the amounts. I greatly appreciate any help. Love how the cups turned out. My fav is th alcohol water color.
Thank you!! Sure thing, it’s a 2:1 ratio of brass alcohol ink to clear alcohol, so if I use 10 ml of Brass, I’ll add in 5 ml of clear. It seems to help the brass flow better when doing that particular technique.
Hi I love your videos, and my niece enjoys trying to recreate your techniques. If you don't mind can can I ask how do you get the bottom edge of the tumbler to contain enough epoxy after applying... mine keeps pulling away. also, do you use two different kinds of epoxy? the ks art resin for when you are creating the design... for the longer working time... and then the topcoat you use the ks liquid stone ultra uv which I believe has a shorter working time? thanks in advance if you get a chance to answer my questions.
Thank you!! Yes, those are my two most commonly used resins - both from KS Resin, the Art Resin when I need work time, and the Liquid Stone when I’m just putting on a layer of resin without doing anything further to it. Not entirely sure about the issue of getting enough resin on the bottom rim, so my general advice would be to spray seal the cup (clear matte spray if you have it) before applying resin, and if the resin pulls away or is still thin there, put on another coat. I hope this helps a little.
I love them both. With the rainfall technique, since it seems to leave white spaces, try using both brands of ink? Put the TRex on last? Can't wait to see your next show!
Oh dear!!! Ok, then go to AliExpress and do a search for “glow powder” and you should find tons of options. I can’t promise this link will work any better (AliExpress’s version of sharing always seems to lead somewhere weird): a.aliexpress.com/_mPjlVDs Basically, any of the glow powders will work - look for bags or jars and best price with free shipping. The size or amount I have in my video is 50grams. Good luck!
@@jacquelinerojas1722 ohhhh, I see. Actually, I don’t think I do, not a full start-to-finish with every step included. I guess I should probably do that since you aren’t the first person to ask. Thank you for the suggestion!!
@@jacquelinerojas1722 , I realized I didn’t answer your resin question. I use a lot of different brands and am often trying out new resins. But even so, my favorite resin and the one I use most often is KS Resin Liquid Stone UltraUV. I am glad you liked the T-Rex Inks, I knew you’d make something so cool with them!!
Thanks very much!!! I’m so glad you recommended T-Rex!! Not sure I ever would have thought to try them otherwise. More videos coming 😁
Very pretty 😍 The inks are rich. They look like they have a pearl effect. BahHahaha I like your decal 🤣 Thanks for sharing 😃
Thank you!! The inks really are very rich - I’m really enjoying playing with them!
