Just saw your video nice review. After seeing what you are doing you should look into the kabar cutless machete its a amazing trail clearer. Its not really a machete. The other one but heavier is a ontario sp53. I prefer the kabar I tell you its amazing. To tell you the truth I was looking at the sharade because I'm into martial arts Filipino to be exact an that reminds me of a Filipino sword. Your review showed me what I thought its more a toy then a tool. Not a bad thing for the price. Really the sheath is another thing that I really like, don't understand why more don't make sheath like that.
Crazy how I just spent the whole weekend using mine to clear a trail and single cutting through 2" diameter branches and saplings with no problem. The same one that was torture tested for almost a year before they hit the market and that I've been using constantly since then. But I guess that's because mine is the original prototype, not one made by exploited Chinese labor that I can get on Walmart.com for $30. Who would've thought it wouldn't make a good a stump shovel either. But if you really want one that has more weight, a full convex grind, holds the best edge, and has an optimal steel with an optimal heat treatment I'll send you an invoice for $900 and have that right out to you. Otherwise please work on being a little nicer to the team of 12 year old Chinese children who made that for you.
@Alien Fish Stick No. You're wrong on several points. A- It's not licensed. They bought the design from me. They own it. Not me. It's their property, not mine. I make ZERO money from the sale of this or any of the product designs they bought from me. B- I said they used CHINESE labor. Not child labor because I know that it's Chinese for a fact and I know the lax natural of their labor laws for a fact. And one of my original stipulations (which they chose to ignore and was a large part of why I discontinued my association with them) was that they NOT be made in China, and instead Taiwan at the very least. The children comment was obviously rhetorical. If you're not quick witted enough to understand that, it's your issue not mine. That said, with falling profits from multiple bad decisions and mismanagement, they very well could be outsourcing to a company that uses child labor at the present time. Either with or without the knowledge of Battenfeld, Smith and Wesson, Taylor Brands, or Schrade, since they make none of their own products in house. C- While Walmart has been known to knowingly use child labor, you don't need a license of use for the intellectual property rights for something you purchase for the purpose of resale. So the statement isn't true of that either. But the point stands that it is not only morally questionable, but demonstrably immoral to continue purchasing products from China under the CCP knowing the conditions caused as a direct result of their governance. Because when you buy Chinese you support the CCP, and when you support the CCP you support the political party and many of the politicians responsible for things like the Tiananmen Square massacre. They did that and you support them when you support their economy. So don't put words in my mouth and call me morally questionable if you don't know what you're talking about any more than you do.
I purchase and test blades based on what they are advertised to do. I dont need to know what all the different types of steel are, there's tons of other channels that go in depth on the specifications, I just want to know how it works on the job I bought it for.
YES!!!!! do a zombie video

You have no idea what 3cr13 is? Normally the steel quality is one of the very first things you look at before purchasing a knife.
