When working with resin always work in a well ventilated area. Wear a respirator with organic vapor filters and wear nitrile gloves.

I've recently started using the deep pour from let's resin myself. I was sad to step away from liquid diamonds but I really appreciate being able to pour much deeper. The trade off is having to wait an extra day of hardening time though. We'll worth it in my opinion! Thos skull is super pretty!
Thank you 😊 I think the LET'S RESIN deep pour is better than liquid diamonds. Its also less expensive.
I do want to see how it works on thinner pours have you tried it on thinner projects like coasters? I hope to try it next week and see how it works in thinner molds. Thanks for watching 🌷
@naptimecreations I haven't made coasters but I have used smaller key chain molds and it works great for those, it's extremely versatile! I'm very happy to have given it a chance because as you pointed out,it's much cheaper than liquid diamonds but produces just as beautiful results!

@@naptimecreations yeah definitely going to do the other colours, iv not tried the lets resin deep pour, don't think it's available in uk, but I do love the just4youonlineuk deep cast it's amazing and you can pour up to 30cm 😱 with it ❤️ xxx
I don’t know what you mean when you say “I poured it too deep”. Can you explain that a little bit more for me? I’m relatively new to resin, so maybe I’m missing something.
Each brand has a maximum depth it can be poured per pour. If you go over that it can warp your piece and ruin your mold.
Resin cures by an exothermic reaction (it gets hot) if you pour it too deep it gets too hot and can ruin your project.
The manufacturer of the resin you use should have maximum pour depth on their website under the product description.
Got smaller skull and container molds. But I have Uv resin only w lamp are theses best for bigger molds like this and let it set. Got them to make orgonite I’ll go smaller how about for smaller less than 1 inch flat or less pcs for jewelry
Uv resin I'd only use for smaller molds. You can use uv resin as long as the mold is clear. The uv light can penetrate clear silicone molds only.
If the mold is a color the uv light can't cure the uv resin all the way.
These big molds are best for epoxy resin. You could try it with uv resin but it takes 10oz for this mold.
Because you used clear would this skull illuminate through the bottom and glow out of it??
