1966 Vox UL705 box with AC10SRT style amp inside.

No reverb, no trem, just volume, tone and two inputs. 10" speaker. Amp does sound quite boxy so next step is to add a speaker cancel/external speaker jack socket so it can power a larger cab.

Sounds Amazing!!! I've had the legendary AC10 SRT on my wish list for a few years ever since I heard one on the Doug and Pat show. Problem is they are so scarce I would be lucky to just see one in a museum. What present day amp, in your opinion is the closest to this sound? I read somewhere that the Morgan AC20 is the closest to the SRT.

I actually made another version of this, with both the trem and an upgraded reverb. My friend made a 1x12 " cab for it. He needs to re-do the covering but it's an amazing sounding amp. What speaker did you pair it with eventually?

It's got a Fender Vapourizer speaker in there. Seems to sound ok. I do prefer it through an external cab though. Much better sound.
