Take a tour through the gardens and the pavilion, and see the story with concept art of the never built Meet the World Carousel Theater show. I had NO idea all these years you had a video that included the English soundtrack of "Meet The World"! I saw this in Tokyo on my one day trip there in 1990 and I vividly recall being able to use headphones to listen to the English version. My bad for not discovering this sooner.
It’s a shame the attraction was never built at Epcot. The crane could have potentially been another EPCOT Center mascot, along with Figment.
I agree, Figment would’ve been the mascot of Future World, and the Crane would’ve been the mascot of World Showcase.

Tokyo Disneyland had this "Meet the World" attraction. I visited there with my grandma, she really liked it too.
Even thought that was almost 20 years ago, I still remeber the show, the seat, and the smell of the theater clearly...memories. Thank you for making this! Domo Arigato!

And I do see why they might have avoided putting the show in, can imagine some complaints over how it basically pretends the entire 1920's-40's of Japan as a brutal power attacking other nations never happened.

In before "Live Action" studio ghibli remakes lead to a spirited away dragon coaster ride.
I'm kind of glad they never built a ride or something at this pavilion. It's just so peaceful and serene, would have been spoiled by a big ride of some sort, love walking its gardens and such.

Where can I find the English soundtrack for this? I've tried but this is the only place I can find it.
EJ Braswell maybe it's not on sale because the project to build this ride in Epcot was failed due to some complaining from veternar's assosiation. I'm guessing this English ver. song is just a demo ver.

I wonder why they chose to have the audience seated in the center and have the stage go around (whereas on Carousel of Progress and America Sings the audience moved and the stage--in the center--stood still)?

Anybody wonder why the crane when speaking English her mouth movement was not drawn in a English speaking way when saying beginnings her mouth just makes a u movement rather ee when I have watched it in Japanese and seeing that in the Japanese version fits her mouth movement, but it said was animated by an American, forgot the name, but I'm confused why is the cane's mouth movement was not matching the English dialogue as when it was animated before Japan pavilion was completed before an error happened, since Disney characters mouths movements were always English right?
Also before I realize, I thought they used Japanese American children child actors to play in this film right?

Only by showing chinese and then bizarre spanish speaking-like portuguese I didn't expect at all, because italian, spanish or portuguese are not my thing to hear about, but bothered that I don't have to hear portuguese as it's not important unlike the chinese, but chinese a little for being part of Asia, but the italian guy never did made it, only china, I just wonder why they did not also say about an English man or English explorers also visited Japan doing trading with them or having similar island country cultures and Americans visit Japan too is important right about how they start making Japan to connect to the English speaking world, but the characters I know, already spoke English and lots of their rest ancestors move to America, but some decide to stay in Japan, but mentions about the dutch and no dutch speaking here, I am disappointed they did not say about the first British people visit Japan by developing Japan too and America opening Japan to the west, again, that should been put in there instead of portuguese or dutch mentioning, because of after they say Japan closed from the west?!
I also believe outside of Japan in the world have the largest Japanese population in the USA of the west of their adoptive home with only 1 million should be now 2 million Japanese in USA or 3 million by now behind Japan, because people say there are more Japanese in US then Canada and that it is as far or top larger outside Japan, America is home to the largest Japanese populations outside Japan I'd say just like the Polish population is the largest in USA outside of Poland, I read the Japanese arrived in USA and Canada first 2 decades before Europe, latin america and Middle East I think, the Japanese arrived in USA in 1880 more then other countries outside Japan have, because Japanese expressively more in America and Canada then Europe, Middle East and latin america, because they are well known with English language then french, german, italian, spanish, portuguese or Arabic for example or Asia such as the philippines failed unlike the chinese in thailand largest outside of china or koreans in china largest outside of korea in the world in Asia unlike the Japanese could be exactly the largest outside Japan in America, but Japan has also copied American culture and having a strong animation industry with America while other countries didn't so the Japanese went a lot to America as well it is their expressive dream to go to USA or stay in Japan, but they still keep their traditional Japanese culture.
