Who in the world would bring their crying baby to a fancy restaurant like that?! I have a kid so I get it but good lord.
Still one of the quieter Disney restaurants though.... It *IS* Disney World after all...
Christine I was thinking the same thing! I’ve never understood those who bring infants or toddlers to a signature dining restaurant. I know it’s a family theme park but you can hear the child throughout the video. Just seems inappropriate. Then again, I’m a childless millennial so some would say I shouldn’t even go to WDW. ;)
Yeah I'm sure the family was really concerned about wdw couple filming there rme. And I'm really sure they have the babies cries scheduled out. Smh. Y'all are ridiculous
I have kids. I know parents can’t control the crying, which is why I would never bring an infant or toddler to a restaurant like this.
Ann I have two babies under the age of three and I agree! I would never bring my kid into a restaurant like this! It’s called being considerate of others... if you can’t find someone to watch them, go another time.
Taylor: "This place has no windows"
Me: "...and no doors..."
Beautifully presented.
A little pricey.
Thank you for sharing.
That B-Roll was pretty awesome! really good work!
Beautiful review; your manner throughout was very “approachable” and I enjoyed your thoughtful, down-to-earth commentary.
Great review! Not sure this is my “cup of tea”, but it’s good to see a review of all the dining options.
The fact they have a tasting menu, and of course all your reactions to that meatball, just sold us on this!!!
Wow!! That looks like the perfect experience! I’d love to go someday.
I keep going back and rewatching your old vids! This is going on my bucket list for sure!
I took my son here for dinner, scheduled a reservation using the app, we had one day in Disneyworld, and since he LOVES anything Japanese we went here. It was very expensive but worth it, every bite was deeelicious! My son was so happy
Thank you for doing this dining review. I have reservations for October 16th. I was on the fence about getting the tasting menu, your video totally sold me on getting the tasting menu.
Truly love the detailed descriptions both you and Josh provide. I can clearly imagine the flavor and taste of the dishes! Love your dining reviews! Thanks so much!
Amazing review! I would do it one time just for the experience. Very pricey. But thank you for sharing this experience
Awesome review! I cant wait to try Takumi-Tei!
I'd like to point out that Wagyy literally translate to Japanese beef.
Ive had wagyu in Japan, so am excited to compare it in America
Your food reviews are flawless and never disappoint. Thank you so much. Well done.
Fantastic review! I loved everything about this. Thank you for bringing us along on your Japanese culinary adventure
Beautiful video great job!
A lot of rice in that sushi. Reminds me of an all you can sushi restaurant where they want to fill you up with rice. AJ of the DFB is always saying the Japanese desserts are usually a disappointment. You have confirmed this. However in NY's Chinatown I have had some very nice delicious Asian cakes and wonderful green tea ice cream so I guess the Chinese have a greater taste for sweets than the japanese. Nice pronunciation of the Japanese words Taylor.
Traditional japanese and chinese can be pretty boring. but both has nice modern desert. try out Japanese parfait or matcha mochi ice cream
I loved this review!! I really miss your in-depth reviews at Disney. I always felt like I was there tasting alongside you guys which was awesome! Thanks for sharing with us!
Alison do you mean like the history and secrets videos?
Probably won't be trying this one, but enjoyed watching your experience.
Oh my gosh, I like this pavilion, my favorite theme park when I was so young, very good review. 🙂❤️
Could you get anymore rice with that sushi? Damn
Omg I’ve been waiting for you guys to review this place! Keep up the great work
Thank you! It was so good!
Great dinning review. Thank you.
You two do an amazing job of describing the food. Not just here but all of your food reviews. Thanks.
Wow looks delicious
Man I'm in love with that Church-Window sushi. It was originally created by Iron Chef Morimoto in Japan.
Amazing review! Thank you!
At there late February. Best meal experience we’ve ever had on property.
Counting down the dayyyyzzzz until this. Passing up my Le Cellier reservation Ive had for months to try this. So glad we could get in! Next week! Cant wait!
Hope you enjoy it!
I am dying to try this restaurant! Thank you for a great review! With it being signature, do they take 2 dining plan credits there?
This would be a neat experience
Sorry I'm a week late watching your review, but this place looks very pretty, and the food looked great! I don't know when I'll be coming here, but I really want to try the Wagyu beef steak, mainly because I'm a steak-lover who's never had Wagyu beef before. Great dining review, as always!
OMFG I was considering this for my trip next year, but after seeing your video, I'm sold. I found conflicting info online about the DDP - do they accept 2 credits yet, or not at this stage? And can you have the tasting menu for 2 credits, or do you have to pay a supplement, like in Monsieur Paul? Thanks xx
That tasting menu looks amazing!
It’s was great! 💯 worth every penny.
That is such a beautiful restaurant
Great video and review!
My hubby says the same thing about uni! 😂. Looks delish!
This place looks beautiful. Have you ever thought of doing a review of Boma for breakfast?
The tea reminded me of the karate kid . So cool lol
dawnscott777 Bonzai Daniel-san!
I would love to have dinner there. It looks amazing!
You are supposed to be able to cut Wagyu beef with a fork. No knife required.
Great review👍🏼👍🏼
That seems like a lot more rice with the sushi than I've seen with typical nigiri
NOW I really want to eat there
DELICIOUS!. EVERYONES👍 DISH LOOKED SO 🥰BEAUTIFUL!. SO EXTREMELY HAPPY THAT EVERYONE🌞 ENJOYED THEIR MEAL! I CAN NOT WAIT TO TRY THIS OUT!. AMAZING😁 JOB AS ALWAYS GUYS.. I ALWAYS ENJOY YOUR REVIEWS AND HONESTY!. MUCH LOVE FROM FLORIDA BELINDA LONG 🍜🍚🥟🥢🥢🍥🍣🍊🧡🧡🧡🧡🍊
I loathe Uni, but I'd eat it to try this sampler. 😅
Deciding between Takumi or Monsieur Paul or our next trip, any suggestions?
Hands Down Takumi!
The WDW Couple thank you
My death meal is uni.... one of my favorite things on the planet. I’m curious, I’m from a small town along the Delaware in NJ, how did you two expand your palates growing up in rural PA? My mom was a great cook, and we went into NYC to visit relatives and FL to the parks, and I tried everything from frog legs to snake to crickets. Living in Az for decades, I eat every and anything....
Looks amazing. Would love to eat here but sadly my wife and daughter aren't a fan of Japanese food.
Is the menu different in these 5 rooms?
Nitin Jain Same menu, just different atmosphere
This dinner is definitely on my bucket list
The water cake is essentially tasteless and takes on the flavor around it. It’s more of a light desert.
Definitely not good for people who want a traditional dessert that is richer in flavor.
I’m going in May and look forward to this place.
too many video edits
I have always described uni as tasting like the bottom of the ocean lol Not for me.
The pieces of fish were sooo tiny. You'd have been better off at Morimoto's in Disney Springs. I can tell you don't normally eat sushi when you said this must be fresher than average sushi as it doesn't taste fishy. If your sushi ever tastes or smells fishy, you need to stop eating week old truck stop sushi. Just like fresh milk shouldn't smell, neither should sushi.
LOL, we have never had truck stop sushi. This sushi with smaller portion size of fish is is exactly what we said. It’s made for those who are less adventurous and nervous about trying sushi. Traditional sushi with large pieces of raw seafood can be scary or intimidating. This was made to help people expand their pallet.
@@travelwithjoshandtaylor Thanks for laughing at my joke. I hadn't thought about it being made for those who don't eat sushi. That's an excellent point. But they should have an option for those who do eat sushi so they can get a normal sized piece of fish. When I saw it all I could think about was the carb to protien ratio.
Also how have you guys not noticed how many times you say "actually" in your vlogs? I love your content but damn.. how have you at least not noticed while editing. There I said it.
