As a kid, I struggled with a lot of issues, mostly acceptance. I remember watching Even Stevens and relating so much with Shia LaBeouf’s character. My childhood was kind of.....crazy, but I would watch Even Stevens and it would all go away. “Lewis Stevens” was always my hero. Even now on Disney+ as I watch the series over and over, it reminds me that it wasn’t always so bad. Thank you Shia LaBeouf for being there for me in a way you didn’t even know.
He was so funny on Even Stevens. One of my all time favorite shows as a kid. 💕

Hes one of the best actors out there. His versatility with comedic and seriousness is gold.
To this date, his most moving performance for me was “Tru Life” I knew then he was just built different, he’s not at the forefront when we talk generational talents, but he’s definitely one of them.
I believe the film was “Tru’s Confessions”, but yes I felt the exact same way about that role! I was traumatized by the library scene as a kid.
