'Mr. & Mrs. John Sacrimoni Request...' & 'Stage 5' are so insanely good, these episodes don't get talked about enough - brilliant analysis as usual, I also love your layering/ editing styles
Johnny crying like a lady at the wedding was so good. Best drama series ever. It shows that all the characters even though they were violenr and had flaws. They are still human and sill have emotional moments. And johnny loving his big wife and defending her honor is one of my favorite things about Johnny. Great video
You’re so welcome! It was a ton of fun putting this one together - gotta love that special Johnny Sack voice that can only be understood by others who’ve watched it - brilliantly played by Curatola, like you said.

For as long as I can remember, Johnny Sack was my favorite character… him and Philly. Johnny Sack is I guess the most honorable among a den of cretins, which must count for something. I also will forever love his cigarette smoking.
@@carrotslat8100 “Nicotine is an addictive substance!!!” Yes, he and Philly have such a powerful energy that makes every scene they’re in a memorable one.
Tony Soprano's underworld family rival Johnny Sack was as powerful, calculated and as ruthless as Tony Montana's business partner Alex Sosa was. They even kind of look alike.
Johnny Sack was a multi-layered personality with a few character flaws. He was well respected, and somewhat feared. He could be the voice of reason, and was great at covering his own behind. A good negotiator, but could really be a stick in the mud when he wanted to be. A nice guy when it was to his advantage and a total prick when he felt things were going against him. His character was so nuanced it really makes you appreciate the writers of the series. I never the saw the cancer coming. I honestly thought Johnny would be whacked in prison, either because of the allocution or because he cried at his daughters wedding. No matter how street smart you are, or how slippery you are, in the end, we are all human and when cancer decides it wants to take us, we have to go. You are correct about his death scene, one of the most touching times in the series, not because Johnny Sack is a good guy, but because his wife and daughter love him so much.
@@robertborcherding9085 Yes, so very true what you say about cancer. It doesn’t care how long you’ve been a made guy or whether you’re the boss of this family or that family or how much you love your family. Glad you also found that scene touching ❤️ quite a contrast from “The difference between you and me is you’re going to hell when you die!” Though of course Carmela was much more tender with Tony when he was in the coma, but that also makes me think of Patty Leotardo when Phil was in the hospital. “God loves you.” Perhaps she could’ve said she loved him, too…🤷♀️

Johnny Sac was a stonewaller. How can anyone expect to make any money with him there. As one of Tony's biggest antagonists, John was a two-faced caulk shucker. He ordered a hit on fish lips Lupertazzi. He snuffed out the lady shy. And he almost had his friend Ralph taken out over a joke.
