I would paint every vehicle I have that color. Had a Lincoln MKX with Tuxedo and fell in love. I had all of the black and a few other pieces redone with it and in the sun it looked amazing! Simply gorgeous.

I just sold my 01 cobra on market place. It had some rock chips on the front end... it was a driver with 115k miles.. .. yes it wasn't perfect but still very presentable for original 22 year old paint. I had a few people picking it apart saying it needed too much work. It definitely got under my skin. It was a clean, straight, rust free car, & completely mechanically sound. The Facebook market place is toxic lol. On a good note. I got what I wanted for the car& sold it to a cool guy who formerly had a supercharged fox.
But yea... I take good care of my stuff and try to keep it nice. I can't stand those A holes that pick a car apart because it hasn't sat in a museum. There ment to be driven.

One thing I really appreciate is that you show teach that the straightness is in the basic prep. Too many think they can straighten the body waves by sanding the clear.... 🙄
Add some ceramic coat and make the color pop even more while protecting the paint

Pro tip…..use an old valve stem in a drill to remove adhesive residue/stripe on the ground effects.

Here's a trick for avoiding the hard-line at the tape edge when blending. I'll try to explain.🙄
When you apply the taped paper edge, lay the paper with the sticky tape side up/away from the surface. Apply the tape gently and fold the tape/paper over the protected are. The tape itself will be in a curve about the size of a pencil. The edge of the paper will be 3/16 above the painted surface. When you spray, the tape won't hard line because the paint will fog under the rolled over tape and soften the transition for an easier blend.

PS- The Carbon Fox may be bleeding boost from the bypass (found this on my friends 93 coupe); Resolved with a direct line to the manifold for the bypass & meth kit. (meth operation pulls vacuum on bypass; think brake bleeder) GL

Love the new color setup on it Andrew! Think the perfect combo would be a fresh all red interior to finish it off at some point. Just my thoughts but love the red stripe to break up the two colors.

Black is the hardest color to paint because the body work has to be spot on or everything will show but yall killed it . I bet that if anyone tries to nik pik your paint job theirs has twice as many flaws and are just jealous. You can ask all of the haters to see their paint job

Working on painting my foxbody as best as possible on a budget at home. I have a painter from work coming to spray it, why do you do it outside and not cover the shop in plastic and so it in there? I was planning on making a make shift paint booth in my rental House garage

not a fan of the solvent blended clear edges. its not a matter of if it will fail, its when. that being said, shes slick! looks great.
