James Gunn movies show how women characters like Nebula and Gamora and Mantis can be written write and done good on screen. Don't know why is mcu screwing up the rest of the women in the mcu.
The key is that he didn't have to make the male characters stupider as a rule compared to the women to make them look smart. Every character has their share of mistakes as well as chances to shine and pull off something cool. The men aren't just secondary villains for the women to blame when they can't get anything done. It also lacks the hypocrisy of She-Hulk when Nebula has to reassess the way she views Drax.
Thank you, Ghamora is a strong woman and she tells Peter off in a feminine, kind, yet affirmative way. I really enjoyed that. I hope Marvel realizes they need to hire good writers not diversity hires.

Watched Guardians 3 earlier today and it was a magnificent film. Characters weren't put down just to lift up others. The story was so beautiful and heart wrenching. I was holding back tears for the last thirty minutes of the movie. Seriously considering going to see it again.
After my sister and I were done watching it, the realization this was the last one hit. This was most likely the last good movie from the MCU and the last one with OG characters who were treated with respect. After the disrespect that was Love and Thunder I'm happy the Guardians ended on a high note. There's nothing worth a damn to look forward from the MCU now. It's over.

Gamora is the great character. She is back from 2014 so she didnt experience what they did, she already got her family in the Revengers squad. The movie is about letting the past go away. She is an object to let Peter Quill grow. She was badass as she has always been so this satire review missed the entire point. Nebula is the MVP, the best female character in MCU because of her journey. Strong and smart but made respectfully.
Gamora in Guardians 3 showcased the problems of depending too much on continuity. If you haven't seen Infinity War or Endgame, her role doesn't make sense. Markus, McFeely and the Russos brought her back for Gunn's sake. Gunn wasn't against killing Gamora: she was originally going to sacrifice herself in Vol 2 because he knew Saldana would want to leave the franchise at some point. In the final product, Yondu took her place for the death. Damn. We could have had Yondu in the Avengers movies.
I predicted phase dive would be even worse than phase bore when I saw the slate. Guardians is exempt from this, it was a great movie. Man high evolutionary was so well acted it was amazing. But up next is the Marvels, if they thought the rest of these movies have been bombing, the marvels will be a Hiroshima level event. To hear Kevin Feige saying seeing the marvels together was like seeing the avengers together for the first time is proof the MCU has no hope. Save your money, wait for the Gunnverse reboot

Marvel phase classifications have lost all meaning after Endgame. The three phases before Endgame all had a purpose like the three acts of a play but now it doesn't matter anymore after the great conclusion. It's all just the epilogue from there on.

Tbh the russo brothers fcked gomorra up for James gunn with the killing her and shit so he was forced to go this route of her being an arse to star Lord and it works. Phase 5 was arse, guardians 3 was a decent farewell.
What were they thinking? They need to get back to what made marvel so good back in phase 4! Phase 5 has potential though. We can't expect perfection every time. Even Phase 4 had spider-man no way home...
I'm a male, maybe I fall under the person of color crap but who gives a fuck, I thought GOTG3 was a breathe of fresh air to the Woke movement that Marvel is obsessed. Frankly I'm amazed we actually got an old Phase 3 thrown in a Phase 4 time. Then again the Guardians never really cared much for these phases, they did they're own thing.

Strong female characters are actually really uninteresting at this point, cause, they cant...all...be string, no more than every man is always string...and if theyre shown that way, they are also unrelatible bores, just like the string women.
Gamora is the great character. She is back from 2014 so she didnt experience what they did, she already got her family in the Revengers squad. The movie is about letting the past go away. She is an object to let Peter Quill grow. She was badass as she has always been so this satire review missed the entire point.
Nebula is the MVP, the best female character in MCU because of her journey. Strong and smart but made respectfully.

Gamora in Guardians 3 showcased the problems of depending too much on continuity. If you haven't seen Infinity War or Endgame, her role doesn't make sense. Markus, McFeely and the Russos brought her back for Gunn's sake. Gunn wasn't against killing Gamora: she was originally going to sacrifice herself in Vol 2 because he knew Saldana would want to leave the franchise at some point. In the final product, Yondu took her place for the death. Damn. We could have had Yondu in the Avengers movies.

I predicted phase dive would be even worse than phase bore when I saw the slate. Guardians is exempt from this, it was a great movie. Man high evolutionary was so well acted it was amazing.
But up next is the Marvels, if they thought the rest of these movies have been bombing, the marvels will be a Hiroshima level event.
To hear Kevin Feige saying seeing the marvels together was like seeing the avengers together for the first time is proof the MCU has no hope.
