DEVELOPMENT: Would it be a GT4 exhaust suite without upgrades for the track enthusiasts? We redesigned the entire exhaust aft of the headers for maximum flow. The factory dual exit/entry flanges connecting the over axle pipes to the PSE muffler limits the piping diameter to 2.25”. The SOUL Race Exhaust System is optimized into a single 2.5" flow path on either side with accommodations to mount factory style tips. Great care was made to mind clearances for hard use on and off the track, expect no issues with our mandrel bent piping. The longer piping routing also helps noticeably smooth out the exhaust sound while the slight blending of the X gives the car a higher pitched sound more akin to the previous 981 generation we’ve come to know and love. Durable race resonators add a more refined note to the aggressive exhaust note while slightly reducing drone. A non-resonated version is option for those looking for maximum weight reduction and sound.
POWER: Below are the unedited, straight from the Dyno Jet dyno results as conducted by Jotech Motorsports with before and after runs on a 718 GT4. Max power gains of 30.7 whp and 16.1 ft-lbs of torque come in quickly and hold until redline for a noticeable increase in driving performance. An ECU tune would further take advantage of the increased flow and unlock greater gains.
CONSTRUCTION: Each system is assembled in house in the USA out of mandrel bent, thick wall .065″” T304L stainless steel. Back purged TIG welding (with ARCAL™ Prime argon gas) ensures proper weld penetration and longevity. Water jet cut flanges are made to ISO 9001:2015 standards with tolerances of +/- 0.003 inches for extreme precision. We fabricate these over axle pipes using thick gauge aluminum fixtures which act as a great heat sink during the welding process and prevent warping not only of our products, but the fixtures themselves to ensure perfect fitment.
BOLT ON AND GO: Every component is rigorously quality-checked, tested in a fixture to guarantee fitment, and then foam packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. New high grade hardware and four OEM Porsche gaskets are included for installation.

And all this talk about OPF and look the exhaust fixes it right away! I personally think with aftermarket exhaust this engine sounds better then the 981 GT4 but that’s just me.

Respectfully disagree. This sounds amazing but still doesn't sound as "race car" as the 981 Gt4 Stock exhaust. 981 Gt4 exhaust as a much more metallic/ mechanical wail.

@@SoulPerformanceProducts do you still sell these? I may be in the market for a 2021 718 Spyder early next year and I would LOVE to have this system. I'm not terribly familiar with Porsches OPF deal, what complications could I expect removing the stock exhaust and cats?
@@_VEKTA We absolutely sell them! You would have no issues on North American cars as the OPF filters are not monitored. On European cars you would get a check engine light. For European cars we recommend our Valved Exhaust at this time. -Mike

Only problem is that you cant drive like this in europe without getting in serious trouble. And loose all the factory warranty. Sounds so good.
Sounds pretty epic. By the looks of the video you were just using the cars autoblip vs doing it yourself. Pretty impressed with how that autoblip was as I've driven a few cars with it and not been a fan(vs heeltoe). I guess I need to drive one of these 718s.

Any info on decibel levels for your various configurations? I heard stock GT4 already rings the noise level bell at some tracks?
Recording decibel readings is difficult as you where you stand, where you are pointed, and many other factors can change the resulting measurements - it's hard to offer a consistent reading. -Mike

So is there no way to get all the cracks and burbles like you get from running with headers on a 981?
It could be done with an ECU tune. The sound of crackles and burbles is normally artificially added by Porsche. Take the 991.2 Carrera for example, it burbles and pops in Sport mode but is disabled in Sport + mode as it is superfluous to performance. -Mike

We sell worldwide and have dealers across the world. As EU cars have monitored particulate filters and these are not designed for them, these might cause a check engine light.

This does not replace a monitored emission device. Your dealer may or may not approve none the less. We advise everyone to speak to their dealer if they are worried about modifications as every dealer is different. We have dealerships that will sell and install our products and some will not.

Mostly clips of the resonated version. Non-resonated sounds slightly raspier outside, but is louder in cabin. -Mike
