Maki is the biggest chad in JJK after Toji. The way she mauled literally everyone BY HERSELF then pummeled Naoya straight after. What a beast.

yeah truly destroyed everything, i feared it will be like other manga's where protagonist don't kill everyone how much ever evil they may have been but rather beat them all until suddenly all villains change their way thinking.
@@chola377 You do know there are plenty of manga especially in shown in And back in the day like in a 2000 killed the enemies. Hitman Reborn Future arc the main character cell the big bad. De gray man Allen kills almost all his enemies. One piece luffy killed because the cannon movie strong world he killed that dude he fell right into the ocean. And others hell goku has a big Death count. Especially you could go by dragon ball. I think this is just a generation thing People just don't look. Or they don't wanna look at past stuff becuse it's too old or something.
Tbh I think maki is still a good person, she’s just been pushed to her limit by her family and now she’s actually able to hold her own against them. Not sure if she’s meant to be a villain but I’m definitely still team Maki

@@Handsomeguy-kj2jg Besides the cursed wombs which werent really humans, I can't really recall any instance of the "good guys" killing their human opponents. Granted the morality in JJK is very different from our own, but I would expect that the rest of the Tokyo School kids would be very surprised by this development.
@@Handsomeguy-kj2jg Still killing 99% of the Clan is a bit too excessive. It does not really matter if she was justified or not, killing that many people in cold blood leaves a blood mark. Plus she created a Cycle of hatred, the remaining members will be out to avenge their Clan Sasuke style.
@@zigazdovc6175 she killed everyone who attacked her. Holding back would probably have killed her as she was outnumbered and already significantly injured. Theres nothing she could have said to them either as even her own parents regarded her as trash and a filthy stain to the zenin name. Black and white morals in story telling really made people think everything can be settled perfectly and peacefully if the mc wishes so.

@@rainsenju1120 yea it would require many decades of baby making to get zenin clan back to anywhere near strong enough to be top tier clan. Megumi and maki alone would let them rival other clans but nowhere near where they could've been at if they didn't lose so many fighters.

This isn’t irredeemable for me honestly. Her family made the same mistake twice writing off heavenly restriction. They treated her horribly and then tried to punish her for fighting against it. They deserved this

I don't think Maki is going to kill Megumi. They both disagree with the whole Jujutsu family Hierarchies, politics and how they perceive non jujutsu sorcerers as lesser beings.

I think her end game is essentilly going to be similar to Toji's:
To kill a very powerful being of the time.
That's not going to be Megumi.
I think it's going to be Itadori - or rather Sukuna, who resides in Itadori.
She's going to attempt and fail which will lead to the beginning of the final arc of JJK.
That's my theory anyway.
She's following a similar parallel to Toji. So it wouldn't be as far of a reach to follow that line all the way to failing to assassinate their mark at the time

They need their hands free to freeze opponents right? And predetermining exactly where the opponent is going to go / where you want to cut before the activation of the technique (24 frame sequence) seems difficult, but maybe
having to draw, swing and connect the weapon to an opponent would be a waste of several of those 24 movements that could better be used to cover distance
People are told not to run with scissors, imagine how dangerous running at subsonic speeds holding a knife would be
Maki by far one of the better characters in the series.

@@Mektek19 In the context of the story, it makes total sense. I mean people adore Togi just cause, and he was just given his crazy power from being born. Maki had some semblance of development, hardship and then the loss of her sister. Seems like that’s a bit of a fair trade off 🤷♀️

i completely agree with that rough draft thing. i do it when i draw, it's 100% an unfinished panel cause that was drawn in less than 4 hours so he clearly messed up the timing and had to finish an entire row of panels last minute

@@aki-4731 Vengeful spirits happen when a jujutsu sorcerer is killed by something other than cursed energy. Naoya died getting stabbed in the back with a regular knife, hence the possibiilty of him returning as a vengeful spirit.

You missed out a lot
Maki has a heavenly restriction meaning that she has no cursed energy in exchange for superhuman physical abilities. However as she has Mai as a twin, and in JJK twins are linked and share their abilities, Mai's existence stopped her from reaching her potential as Mai did have cursed energy. When Mai died she took that cursed energy with her meaning that Maki now has zero cursed energy and superhuman physical abilities that make Yugi's look tame.

@@giordanosantilli5539 I think he means that it could've been handled a lot better, the Zenin clan dynamics could've been a gold mine for character writing but Gege just makes them all one dimensional villains and has Maki kill them ? Meh not very interesting writing. He even kills off Naobito who is the HEAD of the clan in Shibuya and we don't even get any meaningful interactions between him and Maki. He didn't even seem to mind Maki and even saved her life, how does he feel about Ogi and Naoya's treatment of her? See what i mean? Left a lot to be desired.

Concerning Naobito, It's strange that he went to Shibuya by himself considering he's the HEAD of the family, he could've sent the Hei Group or even just have brought Naoya with him

I really loved jjk. But there are some flaws too like no main character deaths. The other thing I hated about the series is that they killed mai insted of maki. They should have killed maki cuz that would be really cool mai will get full development and maki is already established well and mai is not established at all. If he wanted to kill any character they should kill maki that way mai would work hard to get revenge but it never happened.

That was boring arc to read in manga, but it's gonna be great to see in Anime.

@@ayoomarvel5317 multiple chapters of boring, 100% predictable fight, without any exposition. Definition of boring for me. This entire arc was done in style of fighting mangas, but it failed, because author don't have experience in this time of writing. In addition to this, Gege is not a fantastic artist, JJK art is acceptable, but nothing major, again, comparing this to fighting mangas like Kengan Omega, RoR or Tenkaichi. Considering anime is animated by Mappa, there's a very big chance that some, if not majority of my problems will be fixed on anime, that's why I also stated that it's gonna be great to see in anime. I hope I explained properly why I found this arc boring in manga.
