I love to see that confidence in the walk you do. I want to lose 100lb and I’m 200lbs and will do this surgery in August. Was big all my life, depressed and ashamed. I want to be slimmer and wear pretty clothes, be confident in myself.

Hi... please ask your surgeon about all the possible complications or atleast those that occur with an incidence of more than 10 % .... bariatric surgery though looks tempting it is associated with many complications especially bowel perforation...and metabolic abnormalities...the resultant stomach volume is 30ml .... that's the maximum amount you can eat at a time ....

It was a far fetched idea for me to undergo such a type of surgery until one day a lady came through the drive-thru lane where i was cashiering and she exchanged numbers with me and strongly motivated me to get things rolling in that direction and 3 years later I’m actually on the this path, yeah I’m scared to go through it but I’m also scared not to as it’s been wayyyy too long that I’ve been sitting around doing nothing about my lifestyle, i wish success to all that are on this path as well

I refused to listen to negative comments from people. The same people will make fun of you when you end up in the wheelchair. Not able to walk due to obesity.

You’re so right, when i was 18 i was slightly heavy and people would say, “Oh you know you would look so much better if you were thinner..”and then years later when i got bigger the same people said, “Oh you were great looking then, too bad you aren’t the size you used to be!” So yes, negative comments are so not needed..
