This scene really struck me when I was rewatching the movie, the fact that she throws the ugly carrot away (more like pushes it away from Rhodes) and then Rhodes still picks it back up is such a powerful foreshadowing of how she sabotages herself and her relationships as an outcast (an ugly carrot) and how Rhodes refuses to give up on her. A very beautiful movie with so many subtleties.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 well, I wasn't being negative. I thought the point of the movie was that she was in crisis because she lost her business, her boyfriend and felt like she was losing her best friend. That's what I meant, she kept looking back longing for a better time that was gone. That was keeping her from moving on, making it difficult to accept Rhodes. There's nothing wrong with that, we've all been there. Also, just to be clear there's nothing wrong with the way she dresses. People can dress however they want no matter the age. Srry for any mistakes, English isn't my first language.

The fact that she grabbed the CALM was a nice touch.
It’s the little things in this movie that makes it so brilliant.
Details.
UGH Rhodes character in this film is MY TYPE OF GUY !!! He literally reminds me of my fiance

Have you seen The IT Crowd? That man’s in it and it’s fabulous
Best date and pick up line in a movie ever!
It’s really cute that he has to pick up the carrot because it’s bothering him. I’d probably do the same…
So cute together. Good clean fun.
he is such a good friend 😽
So where can I find a him?
Does the movie explain how an Irishman ended up on the state patrol?
or how he didn't lose his job or got a conviction to stick by letting a civilian operate the radar gun and join him in a chase
Cute cop

Did she get that dress at forever 21?
Does she still run her high school picture on fakebook?
Probably she's always looking back with rose tinted glasses.
What? It's a bit short, but otherwise a normal dress. Who said only 21-year-olds can wear those?
@@srta.cigarrillo4163 Huh? Not really, on the contrary she was rather sceptical, most of all about herself.
