Great video, I started painting my fences the other day. I have 24 of them. It toom me a couple of hours just to do 2 of them on one side.
I purchased one of these today from screwfix for £26.
Wow, what a job made so quick. I did 13 (one side each)in about 3 hours. I ran out of fence paint. Just cleaned up ready to buy some more tomorrow, to finish the job off.
I hope this uploaded is being paid by ronseal, he did a great advert on this.
Best thing I have brought on a long time!

Thanks for posting that review, great work! I’m going to buy it today, and I had the same paint product - I was hesitant to believe it was sprayable because it is so gloopy. However to avoid blockages I’m going to use my drill with paddle attachment to make sure it’s mixed, and maybe strain it?

Brilliant video. Covering all the bits someone might want to know, including the key metric of how much faster it was than brush painting.
This was the 1st video I'd come across from this channel and I've subbed as a result.
Keep up the good work (this video must have taken AGES to complete!)

As a retired painter with over 45 years of experience, I can tell you your stain job will fail prematurely. You NEVER spray on any stain!!! If you are lazy enough to do so, you MUST go over it with a brush and work it in, or you are wasting your time. Seriously folks, you get back what you put into a job. This is a joke.

Thank you SO MUCH for making this video in the level of detail that you did. I wouldn’t have figured out all those little details such as cleaning the nozzle by taking it apart, how to properly wash everything with water, emptying it out quickly by removing the nozzle but still using the pressure etc. all those little details made today one of the most productive days I’ve had in a long time!, Thank you, thank you thank you 🙏

As part of my job i do a lot of fence and shed spraying.
    Sometimes I spend days painting.
I always use a sprayer in conjunction with a brush.
Spraying an area and then quickly going over it with the brush to work the paint into the grain and areas that are less absorbent.
I keep a half tub of paint handy to apply extra where needed.
I find this gives a more consistent coating and a better Finnish.

Just brought one to do a fence and found it a total waste of time the nozzle kept blocking. Even used a paint mixer to stir it up. In the end I emailed ronseal and told them what a piece of rubbish it was even using there own fence paint which was supposed to be sprayable. Thankfully I got my money back from screwfix and ending up rollering the panels took longer but at least it worked. Nice video though and glad you had more success than me

Thank you for the demonstration, I was considering buying one of these as I have both sides of a long fence to paint. I will definitely be buying one now, this has proved to me how much quicker it is. Thanks again.

Really great points. I love the issues about pumping it until it hisses and also cleaning out the pump from the gunk. Another tip I saw in other video comments, have a bucket of water to immerse nozzle head into the water if you take a break so the nozzle doesn't dry out as that causes issues.

Seeing as it took me ages to do it last year, this is very appealing.
They should include a funnel with it.

Awesome video mate. Ya took a lot of time i know putting that together and ya created a master piece on the whole set up, use and problem solving and cleaning etc. of the sprayer. I was thinking about getting 1 of these but did read a lot of negativity on Amazon about it so i went for an electric 1. I do not have it yet so cannot comment on its use. But thankyou for your video. Like i say, you have put a lot of time into creating it. Keep it up as i think you are really good at this type of stuff. Well done buddy. 10 outta 10.

I think you should mix the Stain to get the clumps out and maybe then it with some oil base stain.

    • @ExtremeShez
      @ExtremeShez 5 місяців тому

I use a drill and paint mixer drill bit to get the paint less lumpy and more runny. However it's still difficult pouring a 12 litre tub even with a funnel. So I use a ladle and a rectangular mechanics funnel after mixing out the lumps.

Great video 👍 Watching it spray i wouldn't purchase it myself having concrete bases & stumps, it looks like it could hit them.
Just done 12 fence panels twice over by brush, it took 3 days by brushing it on but the final result was worth it.

Mr Singh you would rather use long lasting products like No Nonsense, barratine, a few others, these guys ronseal do not make long lasting products at all compare to the rest!

This is brilliant thank you, I’ve been missing the hiss which is why it’s not spraying great! Back to it today to hopefully finish the job. I wouldn’t have known without this video and would have said the sprayer was just ok, now I’m hopeful it will be great.

Watched your video, as I need to paint a massive Park Lodge, the idea was to see if a paint sprayer can be used instead of a large paint brush - the outcome is NO, as the Lodge paint is thick, as the paint sprayer is really designed for water based paint, great video my friend
