Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. I also left out that I have undertaken an entire laundry renovation over this period as well! Looking forward to some more focus on cars in 2025 now that the garage insulation and laundry projects are basically completed. What is in store for you in 2025?
I’ve driven it a few times up and down the driveway. Drums aren’t adjusted and has no proportioning valve installed so the fronts have too much bias which makes it a prick to move around. Just another thing that needs to be done before it goes to the engineer.
In America, the S1 was also known as a SA22C, the S2/S3 were called FB's due to 17 digit VIN requirement from 1981 and up. I have had a S2 FB for 20 years, and will never sell it. Cheers from the USA!
Merry Christmas and happy new year mate! I love Series 1s, I have a Mach Green one with a 12A I'm about to paint. Can't wait This car will be tough💪 looking forward to the build
Sheets are only 720 wide which means more trips up and down in the scissor lift and more work with the insulation. The insulation is 1200 wide, so 1200 wide timber sheet means lay it down, tape it up and slap it on without having to touch it much or trim it. It’s fibreglass insulation, so the less I need to touch it the better !
I feel like once you run a 7 in the FD and move the drivetrain into the car, would you ever consider an LS as a replacement? I know that’s blasphemy, but it’s cheap HP and you could have two cars mid 7s 😊
Yes, if the walls sweat the insulation will absorb it and probably end up with black mold and bad smell. This is why I have waterproof plastic membrane as first layer that touches the steel.

Get both my turbo Volvo's running. Only need to wire ecus, plugs fit turbos, fuel systems, oil systems. Tunes etc.
The old Steven Cockerill/Dyson rotary rx7, was a weapon of a car 20 years ago
Love all your cars but I have a real interest in the rx4, can’t wait to see you cruising in it 😃

Good luck with the Gen 1 RX7. Please keep us updated with the CDI issue 👍
Good work Broomy your mate the Frenchie wants a Vlad built 26B !!!👍🍻
Love it. The sa will be an interesting build in different times to when the fd was built. And of course the rx4.0
Love the Frenchie.
The stick timber word you're looking for is stud. Thanks for the update video. Love the 1st gen rx7

I had one, stock as a rock with an auto. Just about the slowest car I’ve ever owned 😂

Welcome to the 1st gens!!
It’s been 24 years between first gens for me !
Nice to see you've been busy, it's funny how Life does that. For the inner rood structure, have you considered second hand tin sheet? 🤔🤔

Make good use of that vertical space.
That is an RX7, paint adds weight.
👍👍👍

Probably put the rx7 on a rotisserie and just store it for a rainy day. One race car is enough trouble !
Just use foam board for the ceiling
Any issue with condensation putting the insulation against the steel walls?

Another solid video, Sir. We released a portable air pump. Can we invite you to do a review? We've emailed for an inquiry
