    Yes! I missed the podcast so much. I’m so happy to see you’re uploading again. I hope all is well and you’re healing. But I also wanted you to know that you’re such a bright light in not only my life but so many others. The last week my life has been turned upside down with having my classes moved to online, not being able to see family, and then loosing my job due to all this craziness going on. But I’m trying to stay positive and your videos have always made this lonely and crazy time feel less lonely and less crazy. Thanks for the comfort! 💞

    Social media can be very very healing when following the right people. Ever since I've been following Sierra I've been feeling so much better being in this body positive community, it's been more than a year now and I can say it was one of my best decisions ever. I'm glad I cam across this girl, she's helped me through a lot. I've lost some weight now, I'm very close to my goal, but I'm not restricting myself or think I'm not worthy if I gain back a pound or sth. Thanks to Sierra I learnt to love myself first and lose weight bc I will like my body better, while before I was like "I will like my body when I lose the weight".

I didn’t go through what you did but in 2015 I had a brain surgery and after that it changed my perspective on my life and how I had to really take time to care for myself. • @merrybright5732
      @merrybright5732 4 роки тому +1

      R Sparks I thought this way too but the fact is the probability that you will survive to retirement age is high, and even more likely if you start saving early so you can retire at an earlier age. And this is also why you should consider where you want your assets to go early on, so you can make a will and feel confident that even if you don’t get to use the money you amass, someone you care about can.

    I agree and disagree with Jordan's hot take. I disagree because I've found so much more confidence and support since finding you and Carrie on social media. And I love being connected to family on facebook, and sharing my children and family events. But I agree that I go through my photos with my children worried about what I look like because so many people only share their good photos, and then I feel I lost some of the best photos with my children. It's definitely mental whether its healthy or not in the moment for me.

    I eat the crust parts first and then I eat the rest. I hadn't thought about it until now 🤣

    I really like the crust of bread... 🥺
    With the social media thing it all depends on the bubble you create for yourself on it I think. I have a very body-positive, a little travel, a lot of art bubble on my Instagram and it makes my day everytime I go on Instagram

    I got in a car accident (not my fault), it was winter time, also 2 days before the ACT. I was driving home from work, it was 7:45ish (about my normal time for coming home from work), I got hit by a drunk driver, and it was a slick icy patch, ended up going into a ditch, airbag hit my face, then I went unconscious, it was horrible. I ended up being in a coma for about a week and a half, I had breathing tubes and that kinda stuff. I almost had to have my right leg amputated. I woke up from my coma the day before my 17th birthday, and I got to go home 3 days before the world shut down due to covid, while I’m glad I wasn’t in the hospital that had very little covid patients, I am now fully recovered and I’ve “passed” and completed my PT.
    I was scared about what had happened to me, I thought I was in a nightmare. I was completely petrified, I also know that God was watching over me, I also agree that this was the best thing for me to have a different perspective, if I hadn’t been in this situation, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.
