  • In today's Map Tour we take a look at the Samurai map: Overwatch. This map is small compared to some of the others without a great deal to look at. It's one of the older maps as well, meaning that very little has changed about it in the years the game has been around. We'll still try to enjoy it for what it offers though.

This was a great tour raven. I have always kind of enjoyed this map because it is compact very well designed fortress wise and fits the cultural qualities of the samurai in this game.

Hey Raven, I think you missed a massive detail on the map which concerns the massive ballista that are quite central to the map. If you notice on the walkways that connect both zones A and C that there are rails on them and if you follow them to the ballista, they go right to a turnstile in which it moves to the left or right with suggest to me that the siege engines can be moved, and those side "gates" in zone A are I believe the sheds they use to store them when not in use or when under heavy artillery fire. And especially with how big those ballista are and how unclear the target is on the myre version of the map I believe that this map would probably most likely be somewhere in Ashfeld or valkenium because on those versions of the map at zone C if you overlook the balcony to where the ballista are aimed at there is a massive drop in elevation and there is a big river that cuts through the valley, I believe that the massive crossbows are there to shoot at ships coming up or going down that river and so that's why they're being attacked so the attackers can move their ships through that river.

Raven, I was wondering if you were willing to do a fan story. Almost all of my for honor heroes have a story about them, also you could make a 'how to build' video on them. If you do consider this, I hope you like the stories. Thank you, Raven.
