The only reason I found out about it was because GMA's promo (whoever watches that drek for 'information' is why we can't have nice things) came on during a commercial break while watching my local biased (Sinclair) "news" network, and I heard Roberts ask, "You write that you had _'low-grade'_ depression." Then came the part that sent me into a dumbfounded response: The follow up question to Michelle was, "How'd you get out of that?'" How did she get over something like _"low-grade_ depression" _?!?_
It's a good thing I wasn't in the kitchen at the time, or I would have most likely busted up some plates and cups and shit! I got so pissed I had to write a (controlled) rant in the comment section of a shortened clip of that conversation! That meant I had to find it! And that told me that it _really_ pissed me off. 😂

As someone who struggles to be published, it amazes me how people who aren't writers sell so many books they've never actually written themselves.

Really? _"Low-grade_ depression"? And, for a kick to the balls, _"How'd you get out of that?"?!_
That's almost like getting over a paper cut. Or temporarily losing your car keys. Or misplacing your wallet. Or bumping your head on the way into your garage. Or if you overcook a New York strip, although that does suck. Or forgetting to put coffee grounds in your coffee machine before hitting the "on" button. Or like losing money on the Super Bowl. Or getting over a hangnail. Or sharting yourself just after you laughed so hard it made you sneeze incessantly and to the point where you crapped your drawers.
How _did_ she get over such a _mild_ case of depression? That must have been _rough!_

And we know his administration spied on us-regardless of what liar James Clapper said while under oath at a Congressional hearing about the matter-thanks to reporter Glenn Greenwald, a (real) journalist who worked for _The Guardian,_ and the story provided to him by the Edward Snowden revelations.
*Question:* Why do you suppose James Clapper never spent one second incarcerated? The man *lied under oath and in front of Congress.* If I, you, or anyone else not connected to criminals lied in that same scenario, we're going to jail, end of story. But not Clapper? That's _weird._ You would _think_ a "news" agency like ABC would discuss or write copiously about _those_ types of crimes.
And like the crickets that contributed to the Havana Syndrome farce-it wasn't a foreign country as first alleged by all of those media outlets-not a sound was uttered over it by any of those purposefully obtuse media agencies that should have not only informed the general public about it but also included their usual "panel of 'experts'" to pore over the crime and signal the charge to tighten up such a shady loophole.
But that's none of my business. 🤪

This channel's predecessor was WGN out of Chicago.
But they do provide a balance of coverage that is much closer to journalism than the other three farces.
But that balance includes both sides' biases, which are on full display daily. But that's fine with me. Because this channel handles it better than the other three. And again, it's much more balanced.

You're reaching, Leland. Mr. Patillo is absolutely correct. She has not gotten involved in politics in any way that would benefit someone with an eye on political office. The idea that she is doing some sort of "covert" maneuver (i.e. doing the opposite of what people would expect her to do if she wanted to be president) so she can convincingly be "drafted" without looking like that's what she wanted all along, is ABSURD and you should be embarrassed. If Michelle Obama was truly interested in a career in politics, she would have run for an office, worked in the current Administration, or taken a job as a political commentator with a major news organization; she has done NONE of these since leaving the White House. In fact, she remains a private citizen and former first lady.
I believe Michelle enjoys being involved in pubic discourse, but she is essentially someone who relishes being a private citizen, and has neither done, nor said anything that suggests that has changed in any way.
If she runs, it will be due to a change of mind because of current circumstances - circumstances she didnt foresee.
And loses badly. She'd better take care of Obama who still has fond memories of the Danish premier
