Dj Mud!T Sony XS-L121P5W That should be my model number, it’s been awhile seeing my magnet with the labels on there, but i searched it up on Google, i can’t really take it off, it’s not with me anyway but i have an Logitech Amp with a sub, i’ve listened my music with my receiver before and it works, no damages whatsoever, 100% safe on my receiver, it has a built-in cooling fan just so incase my receiver gets too hot, but idk how to set up lights on my subs before, i wanted the lights in my truck one of these days once i start driving, i was going to get a black Neon Dodge, but i’m driving a ford truck rn, but i just wanted the white lights on my truck, but does the lights works on the receiver also or is it too much power for the receiver to the sony explodes with led lights?
Is that a car subwoofer?? If that's the case then please tell me that which amplifier are u using to feed the subwoofer then I would be able to give you better suggestion..
Dj Mud!T the Sony Explode is the car subwoofer, but not the logitech amplifier, mine’s an home amplifier, but the worse part is i can only take off the panels on the back, but not the front...
You can use up to 14 volts DC to power them .. hooked to a speaker is not DC voltage its AC an it flucuates . Your lights go off when bass hits . An as I said this will not work in car audio amplifier applications , once u turn it up they will blow. Your lights are indeed flashing to music but they are not flashing to the bass an they hooked up to the bass speaker... What's that tell you.
it works on most car audio systems. the leds resistance grows when there is too many watts going to it and the rest goes to the subwoofer since there is much less resistance.
don´t do this it works yes. it kill your AMP while the LED need to many Voltage for the Channel of the AMP. The AMP will WARM UP and the Circut smelt in there (kill the AMP)
I did this too because I had leds in my garden that turns on when it get dark and I decided to try to connect it to my speaker system and it very cool that when the bass comes the led turn on.i put a bass boosted song put high volume and one led suddenly blew😪
You giving false info here.. this does not work in car audio subwoofers , or any car speaker running off an amplifier, they will burn out as you turn the volume up. Also notice the lights in this video... he hooked up the lights to a subwoofer an when the bass hits the lights go out. The lights are moving to the midrange frequencies and high frequencies only...not bass. Leds need very low voltage to turn on 3.5 volts depending on the color but no matter what color you have 6 volts or so is all the led needs to turn on. You saw the meter jumping around on different frequencies an when the bass hit they shut off because it was to much voltage .. now on an amplified woofer there's much more voltage passing through the wires which will burn the leds out. Come on 18 gauge wires on the led strip and 12 gauge plus on amped car woofer ....lol no sorry it doesn't work that way . Know what your talking about before making a diy video.. ppl gonna go spend money on lights to just burn them out cuz of this false b.s info you sharing..
Michael Palmisano mine works well.. haven’t blown any LED strip so far.. and u should know the LED strips are designed to support upto 14 volts .. and the amplifier used in cars pulls the voltage upto a very high volt which is not the case with these kind of small subwoofers.. c’mon man.. use ur common sense.. u could have asked a question that how to connect it to a car subwoofer.. would have told u this technique is not suitable.. ur fault not mine..
Michael Palmisano did u even read the text in the video at the beginning.. it says music.. not bass.. I knw this is AC voltage.. this is just a quick way to this stuff unless u wanna get into Arduinos and stuff to hook it up..
You are right, it does work for a little while, but they burn or fried the light out. I think you need a resistor to drop voltage to the lights. I Have done the math yet, I’m sure you need a good RESISTOR.
The fact that I was doing things like this as a kid is insane to me
that’s how you learn can’t teach a old dog new tricks
Use a transistor so the high voltage amp does not affect the led light
what type
Nice easy way but won't it overload and heat up the amp..
No it will not. LED lights pull watts not amps they pull way less then a light bulb your amp will be fine unless you wire like 50 together.
No they wont ive done it nothing happened except that the lights lit up
I connected lights but as i increased the volume...all lights fused...any idea to solve this problem?
This will affect the sound and power quality of the speaker, and also mis match amp to speaker impedance. Later will damage the amp.
Bhai mere pass LOGITECH z623 hai ma uska subwoofer nhi kholna chahta to ma kase light lagao
Bass quality low on this methods pls replay
Does it work on Sony Explodes? Mine’s 1200W...
ToxicZombie which system are you talking about? Give me the model number

And my logitech sub amp isn’t the same one as yours... mine has the volume control and the bass turner...

@@hazizviltsu1909 what!? Lol
@@rawlscsellers exactly what i just said

how many LEDs can i connect to the same speaker

Literally as many as you can fit my guy.

i want to connect led lights in the i ball tarang 2.1
subwoofer
Shreyash Shinde well yes u can.. will let you know where to get the right LED strip from and then just simply do what I did in the video.
bhai isko sirf negative or positive mae jodna hai
sahil sufi yes..

put a diod and a resistor on the positive wire of ur led b4 wiring them to ur bass speaker
Did this shit 30 years ago!
How many volt led connect to the subwoofer tel me
p.k 2 12-14v LED strip
but when I connect my 12v led with my bass it's don't work
14V max.
Kalau buat lagu dj gimana mas
Idk wat tf u said but thanks lol
Thanks frieend
it burnt my 3 leds
Which system did you use to hook it up with? How exactly did you do it?
Because it shouldn't have happen.
ua-cam.com/video/jABI0uKtpKE/v-deo.html
Because the power is not regulated, soon your amp will burnout.
thanks
You need a bigger light for that subwoofer so the light will blow up
STOP CHEWING!
Maine kiya to nahi hua na sir
Burn my 6 led 😭😭😭😭😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
