UNC *WILL* play 12 non-con games (32 regular season) | Omarion Hampton Preseason Love

The North Carolina Tar Heels will play 32 regular season games in the upcoming season (including 12 non-conference games, rather than 11), thanks to an NCAA rulebook exception allowing teams to play one extra game against an NCAA member institution in Hawai’I or Alaska. In that instance the game does not count against the team’s maximum number of allowed games for the season. This extra game will be a great opportunity for more experience between the Tar Heels.
Phil Steele named three Tar Heels to one of his Preseason All-America teams. Omarion Hampton made the first team while Bryson Nesbit and Kaimon Rucker each made fourth team.
Ethan Strand will run in the 1,500m Team USA qualifying final Monday night.

I'm just curious. Is UNC entering a new Era of basketball???
Can we continue into the future not depending upon/utilizing a big 5??? Can UNC evolve into a team who is 10/12 deep, and can literally run their opponents into the ground with the 5 in 5 out philosophy?? I'd be interested in seeing this come to fruition. Speed of the race horse vs the bulk of the Clydesdale....
