DO NOT DO IT! The closet cash you earn can only be used in $20 increments and over the long run it impacts shipping emissions.
Also, they don't tell you where it goes, and don't have any true guidelines for petroleum based fiber blends either.
I was a first time customer for For Days and Closet Cash/Trashie.
I had $150 of closet cash credits, selected items to purchase through For Days and it would not let me apply all of my credits towards the order, instead it only allows me to parcel out $20 per order. There was never any mention that it would be applied in such a way before joining the Take Back program. This also makes it more difficult to purchase items on For Days and take advantage of promotions like Free Shipping. If I have to shop each time only using the max $20 of my credit each time that means I have to do this 8 times in order to use up all of my closet cash, incurring shipping fees and shipping emissions at each purchase. I think more customers should know about these limitations and if they did know, like myself, they would not use it.
I am very disappointed in another company using sustainability greenwashing and then not actually being sustainable with business practices like these that confuse and deter customers.
    Do Better.
