This is the very first time in Nigeria's history when a sitting president respected a summons to appear before a tribunal, even though he was not required by law to do so. Obasanjo attended this to show a good example to other Nigerians. So when you give Falana accolades, also reserve some for Baba.

Have pity on a country where some few individual thought they are above others. The most powerful in civilised country as US, UK, France etc. Who are you not to be asked a mere question in the court of law? Arrogance of demi gods of Nigeria is overwhelming. Body language and utterances of the so called judge and defence lawyer tells how they all eat and dine together at night and deceive ordinary citizens by the day time. Only the separation of the ethnicities Biafra, Oodua Arewa etc. Nigerian can never be right.
Salut to you Barrister Falana SAN for courage.

Say what you want about Obasanjo but I respect the fact that he came to the tribunal and this was aired on national television. Things like this makes people believe a little in the system and show that the leadership class aren't Kings. Things like this should be done often so as to educate young Nigerians on our government and democracy. Too many people are absolutely clueless about our system of government.

Good job Femi but Africa is always Africa...Though Obasanjo appeared in court but he tactically evaded some key questions to his disfavour...

Fela didn’t die in this incident because I can read some comments blaming Obj for his death

Not fela's death but his mother's course of death and destruction of their properties and beaten up everybody in that house.

Presidents should be coming out for such hearings. We would be doing this no matter the situation.

Femi Falana has always played to the gallery to get the public’s adulation. OBJ has no business being on the stand for this case. The soldier or then ADC (now Emir) is alive. Why not call him to give evidence of what he allegedly said.
It’s sad to see Bola Ige working hard for OBJ only to end up being assassinated with or without this involvement of the same government.

UNKNOWN SOLDIER! Persons who wore uniforms of the Nigerian Army and who could be traced to a particular army Barracks are still unknown.

seek the truth and start thinking for yourself without cheating anyone. This politician have never thought about you and dont see them planning to start now. the more knowledge everyone require for themselves the less power the politician will have. The only difference btw you and the politicians are that they have "knowledge".
