GOD DAMN I love you. So weird that art communities online don't take this seriously You can make unimpressive looking designs but a great composition can save the image
When I first found you and saw your titles, I literally thought you were gonna be those "ALRIGHT, NO BULLSHIT, THIS IS WHAT'S WRONG AND THIS IS HOW YOU FIX IT" kind of youtubers, but you're literally so sweet.
Hi I'm aNXIETY u see that art u worked really hard on but aren't satisfied with??! Let's get SUPER DEMOTIVATED and AVOID dRAWING becAUSE of that ONE. BAD. PIECE OF ART. uwu Okay bye for now~~ ;3 have fun not drawing
Golden ratio and a rule of thirds are tools used to help composition. I'm not sure how to properly describe it,so you're better off googling it yourself
@@cheesestealingfox3381 the rule of thirds is one of the most important parts of composition - most artists use it unintentionally. you basically split your canvas/paper into three, vertically and/or horizontally, and that shows where it would be best to put your elements. it's hard to explain without visuals (so ur better off googling it whoops) but imagine a painting of an ocean and pink and purple sunset - the piece would look best if the ocean was in the bottom third, the pink was in the middle, and the purple was in the top as it would be the most balanced. if you wanted to add a focal point (the point where the viewers eyes go to first and is most noticeable) it would look best in the centre of ur piece. hope this helped!
I love this series so much!! Most tutorials are so vague just like ‘do this’ and doesn’t really explain why, which is why yours is so helpful, you give an example with a few mistakes and then tell us ow to fix it and why it makes it look better! I’m so glad I’ve found this channel as my art has majorly improved since!
This is a really helpful video because usually when I draw it just ends up like a hot mess when I try to add colour or other things to my picture and it doesn’t all fit together and gets crowded so this is really helpful lol also SHES SO CLOSE TO ONE MILLION LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS
Have u noticed how she draws hands? They look like adventure time, while if that's what you want to learn, most people really don't... I'd recommend Jim lee (on a channel called VZA) for drawing hands
I don't think she is really the person to teach you drawing hands.... Look at her artstyle! Best thin is to just study photos/life and try to break it up into simpler shapes
I like how if you take most of LavenderTowne's "DRAW THIS, NOT THAT" thumbnails out of context, really the only caption you can give them is, "lol get good noob"
This is so good for me because I am a young artist wanting to learn more about the littlest things about art this is great good job I would say ❤️❤️❤️😊😊

Onemanshowoff you can save an unimpressive design with great composition, to put it into better words
@BentheCookie It sounds clearer though.
@@dalmationgamer1234 Yo he did make it grammatically correct
Exactly you can also do great amazing details and designs but if the composition isn't right the whole image is gonna feel off
