I haven't ran mine on 3s yet but man it look fast and I agree it look like a lot more in it. I did speed run both mine on 2s only and this was 3kph slower so almost same as buggy just air drag it only difference. But when I went for a bash man the 124018 came out on top for me but I mess up video lol hat cam angel was crap so couldn't see car at distance lol but I'm gonna try put something together today to post. These new WLtoys will be a lot of fun.

the video quality is so good. What kind of action cam do you use? and ovonic 2s 2200mah battery, is it good for 124018?
4k gopro 7 for the outside shots, the ovonic pack would be ideal choice for this car giving you 30+ easily
thanks for your answer and I have another question. is it no problem using 2200mah 3s 11.1v 50c of ovonic? I wonder it is enough to set in the body and anthing else to motor

the only guy to run a 50c 3s on new/2nd gen esc of them without it shouting fire GGZ
I never had the 144001 with a problem on 3s although I know a few people did. I tend to feed the power in fairly smoothly rather than just gassing it! Saying that in this body it's not got a lot of ventilation as the body is sealed to the chassis!

Yes all transmission and electrics EXCEPT body, chassis and driveshaft, as the 124018 & 9 are 5cm longer, all the rest is the same though the shock position/mounting on this is different to the 124019 and 144001

what is 2s/3s?
Is it ok to use a 2S 5200mAh battery in this thing?
2s is fine even a big pack, I run mine on 3s BUT some people have had issues not me! But I thought I'd mention it

Just ordered a 3S 4200miliamp 60C
for it
And a 4S 4000mAh and a 6S 3300mAh. Will report when it fries
Are you able to up the pinion?
0.7 pitch ( hard to find) and it has 27t anyway and could easy reach 70mph with that stock pinion on a brushless
@@andyroo8uk685 you can just use a large pinion gear as your spur gear and make it what ever pitch or module you want. He did a video on it about a year ago.
you're right on the gears just no one seems to sell them or if they do they're the same sizes as the stock pinion and spur! That said @David Truelove is right I've shot a video on a way around it. you can use mod 1 gearing and secure the grub screw to the flat spot on the motor shaft, you'll then need a 3.2 to 5mm adapter sleave for your motor then you can run any ratio you want with mod 1 gears

You make some great videos but one thing I don't see is videos on the best cars for families to get in to rc together. Race bash etc. Showing the fun of this for families. To get into rc. Let's face it ime 52 and got my son into rc but most look like rcs are kids toys only. We need people to show the fun for families to keep rc going. Sad we are loosing stores and tracks. My rc store had carpet track drift track and kids off road . The kids off road brought him parents . Who would see the cool cars and would get into it. Sad he had to down size now just drift.
Ps there is nothing I love more when other parents see the fun we are having . They ask slot of questions I keep our smaller cars with us and let them rip them. We have only one shop close and most of the time they go to our store starting with smaller fast cars .

It's fast on 3s I thought it was going to pop the Esc on 3s. Everyone else is popping the Esc
He got lucky that's all, most of these escs pop instantly on 3s
