The Northrop F-20 Tigershark (initially F-5G) is a light fighter, designed and built by Northrop. Its development began in 1975 as a further evolution of Northrop's F-5E Tiger II, featuring a new engine that greatly improved overall performance, and a modern avionics suite including a powerful and flexible radar.
Kowsar is Iran’s first indigenous fighter jet.

The mass production of Kowsar fighter jet began in November 2018.

Hopefully this is just a beginning of Iran Making Engine and Radar for Air crafts.
This is really a half sized fighter that needs a lot of improvements, but I am sure that Iran understands that and will be eventually able to make fighters that can compete on the world stage.
After 40 years of the harshest sanctions kn Iran and Iranians. It's a miracle that we made it this far l. Actually we have technology that usa dont have. so true, this fighter doesnt match f20, but Iran is new and will probably figure out how to prevail... also the green yellow color is not stealth and need Iran needs to give a good paint to evade radars with long range aa missiles and ag missilesl..
Iran is ancient not new and know how to survive.

I have 2 suggestions for Iran but please take them positive.1st please purchase enhance your fighter jets and purchase more from Russia like SU-35 & Mig-35&SU-57.2nd please deal with Russia for Transfer teachnology of fighter jets including Jet Engine and Radar system
