You absolute legend! Thank you so much for sharing this, appreciate it. Just fixed the washing machine and it is running this load again. Mine was a coin!
Make sure you pull the black drain hose out so it lets the water drain properly, its hard to pull out the first time but its on the directions to pull out about 150mm. I did this clean once and it didn't fix it, the second time I checked the impellor at the back of where the filter goes and it was stuck. Gave it a flick with my finger and got it moving and hey presto now it goes again.
awesome - thanks. I'd suggest getting as much water out of the bowl with a cup etc before unscrewing the black valve as lots of water does come out (as the little black hose doesnt seem to let much out on its own). have lots of towels ready under the flap to catch the excess water and a few loose ones on hand to mop up quickly so that it doesn't all run under the machine .... I found so much stuff in there its not funny!!! all good now - this works a treat.
Thank you !!! Life saver - not much water came out of the black tube .. most of the water came out when the filter was opened / keep a bucket and towel handy
Can someone please answer this question: is it normal to have residual gunk in other crevices surrounding the filter? I can take out the filter but there is a cavity inside the hole where the filter goes and that cavity is full of gunk. I can use my finger to slide some out but I don't know how to remove the front panel to get to all of it 😢
fixed - use a shallow oven tray to catch the water and after puliing the filter out check inside too i found something blocking the impellor blades - thanks
I’m assuming you’ve resolved this by now, but I had the same issue as you. I had to remove the entire pump hose to clean it by unscrewing the bottom of the washing machine. I have no idea how I fixed it, only the washing machine started working after doing the whole hose thing. Took about 45 mins to do.
i tried removing the filter but the black handle came off without engaging the white filter. How did you manage to remove the filter that is disengaged from the filter?
Hi JCGene. Try using a flat screw driver and long nose pliers. With the pliers. turn the filter counter clockwise until its is off, then using the flat screw gently pry it off. Hope this helps.
@@diydad3652 i have the same issue where the black handle has come off however, i do not know how to use pliers and the flat screw driver to remove the filter. Could you please tell me exactly how to do this?
@@diydad3652 same things with mine unfortunately. Did u turn the white filter with pliers? I cant seem to grip anything. Should i just try prying it out with a screw driver
HI DIY Dad, did you turn the machine off at the power point before doing this job? I'm hoping that is not necessary, as our power point is pretty inaccessible.
Hi! I have the same washing machine, and somehow the pump outlet hose that you show above has been pushed back into the hole and is now stuck inside. Any ideas on getting it out and if I can’t get it out, will it harm the machine? Help! Thank you :)
Turn the machine off, unplug all pipes and then lean on it’s side. Unscrew the bottom plate and locate the pipe that’s been pushed too far in, push it back out.
Thank you for sharing this. It's the second time in a row that a stupid face mask has clogged our filter. Bad enough we had to wear the ridiculous things, but to run the risk of having to pay hundreds of dollars to get our machine fixed because one of them got stuck would have been the last straw.
Brilliant - Had no idea what was wrong and how to fix, but this was so easy, washing machine working properly again - GAME ON!
The only bit that I wanted to see (the struggle) is cut/edited out.
Same my ones frekn stuck but no1 shows how to get it unstuck to finally get it out 🤦♀️
same! I used needle nose pliers to eject the damn thing but snapped a small piece of white plastic off in the process 😂
Mine come out no troubles. I suspect it’s the age of the thing or the shape of whatever is caught in it that would make it hard to get out
Awesome !! Followed your tips and now my machine is working again - Thanks
You absolute legend! Thank you so much for sharing this, appreciate it. Just fixed the washing machine and it is running this load again. Mine was a coin!
no problem! I'm glad I was able to help!
Thank you po, you helped us clean our machine! Couldn’t figure this out ourselves

wow under 5 mins! nice!
Thankyou very much for the helpful video, Champion!👍
can you show how to change the drain hose on this machine?
hello....can you tell me what the white plastic round ring is that is hanging in front of filter???
it lets you manually open the door
Thx for this, I have anoterh issue, it says out of bal, can you let us know how to solve it?
it means it's out of balance, I'm not sure but try levelling out the spinner or the Base. hope everything is fine now
Yay I found $6.25 and didn't have to pay a service fee. I really had to tug the filter as it was wedged in with a bobby pin. Thank you

Hi, how do I fix a noisy machine when spinning? Thx.
Did all that and it's clear. I think it's the outlet pipe that isn't clearing. When blew in it, it feels blocked a bit. Any ideas?
Thanks for the simple DIY ... It works .. much appreciated 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much this was super helpful.
I suggest using the spanner that came with your machine to undo the filter it will save you a lot of pain!!
Thanks I had the same problem u followed you instructions it work
Thanks heaps
Saved me $150 🙏🙏
Done all that, still shows the error when it gets to rince

Done it a few times still saying clogged?
In my parents washing machine a piece of plastic was jamming up the pump which was causing code 37 to be set!
You guys saved me thanks a lot
HI DIY Dad, did you turn the machine off at the power point before doing this job? I'm hoping that is not necessary, as our power point is pretty inaccessible.
I just did it with power on. It's fine.
Switch the machine off at the wall of course first
Thanks mate, broke my washing machine
Awesome video! Thank you 😁

I cleaned the filter, it still gives my the alarm.
Any ideas?
My one doesn't give the error code but clothes come out with lint all over despite been used on shoe free household.
I did that but there's still the same error message 😢
Helpful. Thanks you :)
This was a great help but unfortunately, I am still getting the same code even after doing this process about 5 times now. arghh!
Great vid!
thanks :D
Awesome, thanks!
Legend!
Thanks!
Thank you!!
No water comes from the hose on mine, only when the filters opened abd heaps comes out.
Same here. How did you fix it?
@claudiavidal5195 sorry mate, I don't even remember having a problem
Yep, you da man!
Lifesaver! Woohoo!
Thank you☮

all that water went everywhere because you did not drain hose enough
Rosary beed cannot help. It’s not in the HolyBible.
Would never recommend this washing machine to anyone
So do I, lint all over washed clothes waste of couple thousand dollars
ZERO water came out of the tube, but literally buckets of water came out where the filter is and flooded the laundry floor.
Terrible design.
Exactly what happened with mine. Twice now. As he said at 1:40 - "Water should come out", but it doesn't.
Does anyone know what happens if I’ve done this and it’s still not working
Thank you!
Thank you!
