It should be absolutely ILLEGAL for NY to not allow other states to get a non resident pistol permit card. The only way they allow it is if you have a business in their state. I find that to be completely unconstitutional since I live 30 mins away from upstate NY.
I live in Massachusetts and because NY blocks in all of New England from the rest of the country, I am forbidden from road tripping while protecting myself. Absolutely disgusting and unconstitutional
Had this discussion with your telemarketer. You need to make a straight up search to list the states that have non residence licenses. It is a pita to go through each state.
Why should we have to jump through all those hoops. I don’t know of any other constitutional right that you loose after you cross over a line on a map.
Show me the part of the constitution that’s gives a state authority over any of the bill of rights…… especially the ability to regulate or infringe ….: it’s not there
You cannot expect any state to honor the Cali CCW permit when Cali does not recognize any other state CCW permit. Then too, in Cali, the permit is almost worthless unless you are out in the woods and hunting/camping/hiking far away from people.
@@nokoolaid you are correct as far as I can tell. I’ll read up more on this. I however would not expect this. As a general rule, people are not usually as forgiving or supportive. My home state of California for instance does not recognize any other state’s permits to carry. I hate it, but I’m not moving. When guns are outlawed I will be an outlaw. My inspiration is the people of Illinois who were required to turn in their center fire, semiautomatic firearms, but 0.6% obeyed. Love it!
@@donaldanderson7410 Ya but you also don't want to be labeled a felon not just by the law but by your gun community, the gun community has zero respect for people who don't obey the law. That's one of the reasons I"m reluctant on even getting a pistol permit license, I don't like the idea that it can easily be revoked permanently for life if you do one little thing wrong. In my state if you ever catch just the lowest level of assault as a charge (only a misdemeanor) you can't have a gun.
@@hatersgotohell627 Incorrect. Try traveling to other states and see how it goes if you get caught carrying. There's no federal law that give full faith and credit to CCW, so getting a permit is necessary if one wants to carry outside of one's state.
Any non resident permits that South Carolina excepts? Also from what I can see if you live in North Carolina, Michigan, North Dakota or Kansas you are blessed with the best reciprocity a US civilian can obtain. Alaska, West Virginia, Ohio and Idaho seem pretty good too
States shouldn't be allowed to have the rights they have. Carry permits should be federal, and it shouldn't matter what state you buy a car in, or a gun. We need to petition the government, march on Washington, and state capitals.
@mikefarmer4748 yes, and they have made it against the law to stop them, as has the federal government. I don't think there are enough of us to stop them. Not by force, and not by voting.

Question is does a NON RESIDENT license give the possessor the same reciprocal rights as a RESIDENT license? I have heard the reciprocity only applies to the residence of that state, the non resident allows them to carry just in that state. Is this the fact?
There are some states that have reciprocity with other states but do not except the permit if it is a non resident permit. To the best of my knowledge one of the biggest offenders of this is South Carolina and sometimes New Mexico. If you are a USCCA member then you have access to their reciprocity map to check “the fine print” with the states that are highlighted in yellow. Also gun laws can be different from state to state and certain places where you are allowed and not allowed to carry maybe different too.
Was this filmed in an Imperial class Star Destroyer or a Victory class star destroyer?
Thanks Tom. My state license instructor uses USCCA training and a NRA shooting program. Don't forget states offer different veterans programs also.

Not true. Some states recognize all states permits. Arizona, Utah and Vermont recognize all states permits.

@@nokoolaid Theres really no need in those states tho to have a pistol permit considering they're constitutional carry states.

Clear, concise summary.
This is life in a federal republic.
Yeah this attorney seems solid
Are there any states you can carry as a non resident without a ccw
Yes those are called constitutional states. You can carry a gun there without a beaucratic requirement of having any CCW permit.
States shouldn't be allowed to have the rights they have. Carry permits should be federal, and it shouldn't matter what state you buy a car in, or a gun. We need to petition the government, march on Washington, and state capitals.
In many/ most cases, the states have no right to regulate or restrict or prohibit things that they do.
They do it anyway because no one stops them. 🇺🇸
