Why didn't he use any of his attacks that can't be parried besides the giant AoE the entire time? I saw them many times in every single attempt. Is the game modded here to show just the attacks can be parried?
Probably because he stays positioned in his face the whole fight . Most likely the other attacks are for when you try to create distance from him, so he didn’t use those
You can actually manipulate the enemy AI by being up close to them. Almost all bosses have this behavior, including the final dlc boss. Its less beneficial to parry at range with golder parry because of this.
I landed the first parry. he immediatelyas if to say you have work tomorrow go to sleep used his plunge attack and instantly killed me (this was my 16 attempt (first at parrying) he has never once done that attack)
If you get one shot, investing in more vigor stat could be a good idea. 60 is usually what I go for. Also endurance stat is worth considering for melee builds so you can equip stronger armor while still being able to quick-roll.
Instead of Opaline it's the Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear that negates the aoe
If I had watched this before I wouldn't have suffered.
this one gave me a lot of trouble.
i always forget that you can parry bosses
Beat him yesterday, parrying is always my final strategy when everything else fails, this boss was aweso.e
dude this is insane! YOU'RE BACK!
The correct way of defeating Midra as Fromsoft have intended
how come when i do this he just doesnt keep doing the same easy parry attacks and does the ones that are not parryable?
goated
Are you ever going to go back to doing SFM? i love your animations
I do have something big coming, hopefully in a couple of months
@@GGtheaterOkay
This looks so easy compared to Rellana and Radahn, took me a while to get consistent with them but it’s the only way to beat them without cheese

My bubbletear doesn't block the aoe entirely, I always get huge damage from it, do you know why?
Stand still or hold block next to the boss. If this doesn't help then I don't know
@@GGtheater Yeah it still doesn't block it entirely, there seems to be 2 instances of damage and it only blocks the first one.
I looked at my flask and turns out it's actually the Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear..
