Try driving a truck for a awhile! I totally understand this frustration! No I do t condone it but y’all need to know what we go through on a daily basis! Lots of injustices.
I saw a driver backing into a slightly more generously sized dock approach a week ago. I absolutely didn't try to push getting around him, because I saw the long narrow space he had to back into. Watching this guy, I realize the dilemma (is it a trend in commercial property?): either property owners need to give proper space to maneuver a 53' trailer, or trucking lines need to make local deliveries in euro-sized rigs. I expect neither wants to do either, so it's loggerheads for both, and drivers need to pass camels through the eyes of needles. …and leave most of their tread at the docks.
The back wheels (tandems) were already unserviceable when the video started. They were going to have to come off anyway, so he actually saved labor by shearing them off himself.
Supervisor: did you get past it? Driver: sir there a small amount of damage to the trailer i need to mention Supervisor: i just need to know if you got past it, nothing else matter
Possibly, at first, the driver thinks the curb is the obstacle stopping his tandems because he/she didn't see the double barrier properly. When the driver realizes the situation, looking down the blind side and sees the 2nd barrier under the trailer and the subsequent damage 0:29 that...MAY be... driver strike #3 with the employer and pending dismissal. So, then just goes all throttle. Getting fired anyway for previous issues. Looks like the situation escalates. When you hear something, anything, that doesn't look or sound right... what do we do fellow truck drivers??... correct - STOP. Or go all throttle for fun!
Judging by the bouncing trailer I'm thinking he was loaded. With an empty the semi wouldn't struggle to pull it like that even with no wheels. I've got 4 million miles in a semi, I know the stress it puts on a driver. Honestly I feel sorry for him
As a truck driver myself I can sort of feel the tension and stress that the driver is going through. Боюсь дурак тут только ты 😮
I have to give this guy a lot of credit because I think he was attempting to simply reduce the weight of the load by removing the rear axle.
😂 great point!
Sir you forgot your wheels
Sorry driver! Our ramps don't go that low
Very useful piece of equipment these safety barriers. Especially when positioned on such a location. Have to keep that guard rail safe.
Holy smoke, I've never seen something like THIS.
“It wasn’t me”
“We literally have your wheels at the scene of the crime”
Hey, do you think anyone will notice?
That guy is really good at his job... the contractor that installed the pole there, I mean.
He did a good job, yes. But the contractor chose a terrible place to install those freaking things. Those poles were in the freaking way. Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to install them there?!
@@emmanueldavis1872 Property owner probably chose the spot, not the contractor. People don't hire contractors and say "hey put anything wherever you want and I'll pay you."
@@StrangeScaryNewEngland Doesn't matter who had it put there. Point is, those poles don't belong there. If the property owner did tell the contractor to put it there or whatever, they're stupid.
@@emmanueldavis1872 I completely agree. Both of them are stupid, obviously.
One of the DUMBEST comments I’ve ever read in my life. Unreal.
Nonsense, no excuse for this idiotic behaviour. If you can’t drive don’t drive
Thank you truckers. Always getting my freight there on time. Even if you're loaded on speed.
That was just old fashioned rage.
Those guys are the *BEST* .
That Detroit Series 60 is no joke, so much torque bro forgot he even had a trailer attached 😂😂😂😂
Maybe not someone you actually want having a trucking license. Or a driver's license. Or being on the road in any capacity.
He is for the bike lanes
@@Davidvanzutphen bro I wouldn’t let this driver collect the shopping carts in the parking lot
He was promoted to vice president of safety at Swift.
Swift=See What I Fucked Up Today....
More like CR England
pretty sure the other end of that pole is also in someone's way somewhere in china .
semi truck: it’s fine no damage taken to the truck
Trailer: noooooo my wheelsss!!!!
This guy has the emotional maturity of a todler.
The literal meaning of leaving your wheels behind.
😂 +1 here u go that was too funny.
Hell of a way to hand in your notice
Could you rotate the perspective a few more times while filming next time? The video wasnt quite hard enough to follow.
I love how he just kept driving like the back wheels didn’t just get completely ripped off the truck😂
The back wheels (tandems) were already unserviceable when the video started. They were going to have to come off anyway, so he actually saved labor by shearing them off himself.
Supervisor: did you get past it?
Driver: sir there a small amount of damage to the trailer i need to mention
Supervisor: i just need to know if you got past it, nothing else matter
😆😆
I'd love to see this guy take on the 11'8" bridge with an oversized truck.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's where he was headed as soon as he got outta that parking lot!
Bro still could have gotten away from it without completely destroying the trailer
I feel his pain, sometimes it’s the little things break the final straw. And this had me busting a gut laughing!
The dude only had 1 straw.
His axels were held on by straw
Scarecrow is green with the amount of straw between the ex-operator's ears.
😳 Oh "guts" ok
Dude completely snapped
semi truck worker: "So uhh, I'm guessing I don't need to come in tomorrow, yeah?"
Honestly I feel sorry for him
Well, it took a few attempts but he did eventually succeed, persistence is an admirable trait to possess, unless of course you happen to be that guy
Laugh all you want! He got it unstuck didn’t he?!
Underrated comment
He sure showed us!
As a truck driver myself I can sort of feel the tension and stress that the driver is going through. I once turned into a street that my GPS told to turn into and turns out it was a dead end (Stupid GPS 😡) And it was a bloody nightmare trying to reverse out of there with the traffic behind me. I was sweating really bad and heart was pounding 50 times a second.
People might think that it's only driving but most people don't understand the stress that we truckies go through.
@@ahmedhamdan2009 you aren't kidding. I used to be an amateur like everyone else. Now I'm one of the best drivers out there when it comes to driving and especially backing. Now I work at usps mostly driving a spotter.
@@ahmedhamdan2009 we had a guy get directed down an alley in Compton,Ca by a police officer. Turns out it was a dead end and there's no backing a set of doubles up 1/2 mile lol. That was a mess. Plus imagine being a white guy in a pink Peterbilt stuck in an alley in Compton lol
That has to be the best trucker I have ever seen.
Why didnt he think "Well I'm not the First truck driver that needed to get out of here. How did the other guys do it?"
He is in the middle of rage, screaming in his truck, not thinking. 😂
