    If you are still in Korea you should take a look at the more rural cities like Yeosu. A beautiful Bayside Historical city. We have been stuck here on our yacht during the Covid Border closures and think you are missing the real Korean experience if you don't experience the wonderful coastal areas like Yeosu and Suncheon. We would love to show you around.

And many unorganised roads. But if u go centerm city or Haeudae or Oshiri area...its new.

    The quickest way to convert to US dollars is just take away three zeros. 10,000 KRW is about 10 USD. That sounds like a lot, but you'll be able to buy about $10 worth of stuff. A can of Coke costs about $1 in the US and will cost about 1,000 KRW in Korea. Korea is about the same as the US.

    • @SeoWoojin55

      There are some things that are more expensive in Korea or in the US though haha. For example, beef in Korea, because Korean beef is graded, is more expensive. And in the US, public transportation is more expensive while it is slightly cheaper in Korea.

    • @LisaAndJosh
      @LisaAndJosh  2 роки тому +2

      @@cheeba4114 hello! Thanks for pointing this out. We generally find everyone’s travel experiences are different. I think it’s helpful to remember that we were in Busan, there were 4 of us traveling altogether sharing a family meal, we are documenting our budget as converted from an app we use, and exchange rates change quite often. We share the budget for the two of us at the end of our videos for transparency for those hoping to travel too, so while our documentation and we certainly aren’t perfect, we don’t really have a reason to lowball.
      This is an itemized list of our meal:
      Medium order grilled fish - 40,000 won
      Small order shrimp - 20,000 won
      Two rice bowls - 2,000 won
      Drinks - 4,000 won
      Pancake - 10,000 won
      As of today, 76,000 won is approximately $58 USD

    다음에 또 어시장을 간다면 부산사람과 가세요. 좀더 저렴하고 좋은 곳에서 식사할 수 있습니다. 미국분들이라면 세계 유일한 유엔군묘지 방문을 추천드립니다.

    Hi. Lisa and Josh. i'm korean and korea is amazing and that much so weird . haha . You guys always smile, but we already know that incomfortable things about korea like "Roller coaster bus" lol . I recommend you ride Taxi , that is much better, for 4 people . Taxi is more cheap or similar than Metro or Bus . in 30 minutes. and Jagalchi Market , it is actually 30$ budget needed on 1 person . and market is more expensive for foreigner . I recommend normal clean fish restaurant in busan on the downtown . finally , in Busan , must eat "Pork soup " and "Mil myun " enjoy your trip !

    It actually is a bit cheaper to pick up your food then have the stalls just cook it for you.

    This is a good video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

    If you don't try "Busan Milmyun" (cold wheat noodle dish), you haven't seen Busan.
