I think this is a cover of the other version(68 version, I think) they recorded. Which, both she and Mark Ronson have named their favorite version of the song. I really wish they had released that version as the single instead.

Was watching this on a recent vacation with family, I had a few beers and started yelling that the idea Art can only be judged subjectively is worth going to war over. I want to be on the other side of a battlefield from people who think you can't say this is OBJECTIVELY BETTER than, say, DojaCat. And I want to water than battlefield with their blood (I'm kidding, UA-cam, it's called hyperbole).

Whether it's drugs or alcohol, it's a problem and the devil is winning. If I just described you I'm speaking about me. It's time to do something about it, both of us. Umm, i used to be an atheist/ nihilist/ depressive and through yoga and controlled use of psychedelica and planet medicines like ayahuasca, woops typo but im going to leave it... plant... planet... nice. Yeah, through that and deep introspection during my lowest moments i found God, the connection to my higher self, to the one consciousness. It's an experience you can have and a state of being you can live in. Summed up, russel brand said this priceless thing: individual consciousness is like sanskrit characters; all different and unique and they can stand alone but there's a line above them which connects them all which they're all a part of.

It is effort. The craft of artistry is not just given and left like a stain on the floor. The mind has to go through an immense crisis to reach a preponderance of equity. It is work. Do not be fooled by the fakery of gold-digging singers who merely have show some skin to get global "respect". They are not artists. Amy knew what it meant to create art. Now copy her.

Her story is probably one of the saddest I've ever known. Her talent was stratospheric, yet it couldn't compensate for the love she so desperately craved. If you close your eyes you can hear how she makes love to the song. Amy was so damn relatable, plucking away at your heart strings. She may have been you in an early stage of your life. But you had the support you needed to climb out of that pit. She didn't; every single person around her was a complete parasite. You just wanted to snatch her away from her bad influences and terrible choices. Yet here we are, listening to a legend instead. Probably the most tragic "celebrity death" in a generation. Truly devastating.

I will say its pure truth. Its so rare your body/soul has missed it for so long that tears flow. I can't explain it well but whenever i hear something i fully believe as utter truth connected to a strong emotion like distress or fear or love pr joy... i cry.

I got teased by this song because of my name…little did I know an amazing and talented artist and singer was on the end of that song! Every since that introduction to Amy Winehouse I am all in! Her skills are unmatched IMO!

I too struggled with many addictions. I'm now clean and sober for almost 20 years. I do get moments of weakness I'll admit, but music such as this always sees me through.
Try these guys too. Great Australian blues band called The Tesky Brothers. White guts that sing like African American blues artists. Damn amazing to be honest. My favs are pain and misery and hold me. Enjoy

One of the things that moves me so much is watching her really start to get that restless shake going there for a bit.. (one I know well).. but the moment that nice and smooth pre-chorus to chorus began, it was like that calming flow just took her outta that awful place and she just was transported into the soothing, natural, comforting "home" of the music. ....you could almost *see* her being lifted out of that distracted, restless place as she just let herself become present and fully immersed in the vibe and the song. It was almost as if you could SEE it healing her.
I wish it could've healed her even longer. Your voice is missed, Amy.
