Yes, the Zen portion is terrible at recognizing you, but I just ignore that most of the time and try to follow the trainer. Obviously if your'e already athletic this won't do much for you but if you're like me, someone who wants to try to slim down this definitely works.

@2001drum This game is awesome. It keeps you visually motivated along with a nice sound track while you exercise. The motion capture is super smooth and certainly keeps you going until you reach your goal.
Iv'e been working out for years and can say if you don't workout just but want to start get P90x.Great for starters and with a good diet you can actually get great results, just remember to not depend on it too much to stay in shape as you will need to do different routines after a couple of months.Also toning doesn't exist, spot reduction is a myth, and the only way to get a six pack is to have less than 7% body fat percentage
I've tone my thighs in two weeks time through the 'skinny jeans workout' i am so happy and more confident now.Tq so much to the developer of this game.I am a more confident person now.those who wanna lose weight in a more fun n effective way n in ur own privacy n comfort with a virtual personal trainer, i would highly recommend this game as an alternative workout.Trust me it works for me ^^ Regards SARA frm Malaysia :-)
Played the demo that came with Kinect Adventures and it was very impressive. I'm buying this title next trip tp the mall, maybe it will help me drop those pounds off before our cruise!

I have a a large livingroom, white wall in the back and lights on - It works perfectly. I would go to the gym if I had time, and if I even wanted to go there actually... but its just so easy to start this game and do the workout the 'fun' way. I use it almost daily, and I simply like it..:) ps. I dont wanna sound like a fanboy, but yeah..
I like the kinect's place with workout games. There's no way to cheat when you're bieng watched. If I had a dollar for everytime the wii thought I was doing something active but really just sitting on the couch moving my arm... xD

just played the biggest loser demo and was suprisingly impressed. I had very low hopes from a video game based on a terrible reality show but I got a really good work out in no time at all and it was almost fun. now I've got to make a decision between Your shape and biggest loser... Any suggestions?

to anyone saying kinect better than Move , stop kidding yourself these are the software ( it's not really a game ) that's in store for Kinect games like Halo and Gears will not work well with kinect as it is it's great for all those fat ppl that own an Xbox , you know the sequel to this should have the governator shouting at you calling you fat you get insulted while working out , i'd be the funniest thing ever

Well, I think the base idea is good. Obviously needs a little work, but those sections can always be fixed. Overall,worth buying to me.
I can imagine that situps, pressups are difficult to keep track off, the sensor would have great difficulty tracking the skeleton

@aqassab if you have a pair of dumbells, or some weight plates that you can hold on to, then this game should make you feel the burn. It's great.

I'd rather get dance central. tat has a calorie tracking, weigh-loss component in addition to the dancing with less camera recognition issues.

The main thing is you don't need to go to the gym anymore, just turn on the box and start.

This looks cool! Try looking up on UA-cam EyeToy : Kinetic. It's a similar game to this one.
What about if you have an injury. Is there a way to put it in the game so you dont lose points for a move involving that part of your body?

Iffy Recognition? A UA-cam reviewer said his wife tried to play and the game wouldn't let her which makes it seem like it is impossible to cheat.
