      I purchased the Nex Playground to use as part of my therapy after a hospital stay in June.
      While I am wheelchair bound, getting upper body movement from so many of their offerings has been helpful and fun.

    Are the 4 included games enough to keep kids interested? Are your kids still into it or are they back to playing Switch or PlayStation or iPads?

      They love Tumbo Bots the best which isn't a freebie unfortunately. So you'd want the gamepass. We've been doing the games once or twice a week just to do something more active. I like the workouts too adults can even do. Of course Minecraft & Roblox is their favorite thing, but it's fun to have the variety. The competition games are fun for a family game night too.

      Fruit Ninja has recently been added to the original 4 ( although initially only as a single user ). They are working on multiplayer and no bomb modes.
      Starri is an exceptional dance game for 1 to 2 users.
      The Play Pass at $89.95 per year adds another 20+ games. + whatever releases come monthly.
      It far exceeds the Wii and even the Microsoft Kinect.
      Very much run for ALL AGES.

    How easy or hard would it be to leave this on one game, if I select a game and then hide the remote would that work ?

    • @EpicFamilyQuests
      @EpicFamilyQuests  6 днів тому

      You should be able to do that just fine. You won't need the remote again unless you want to change the game. :)

    Are the games free after you buy the device?

    • @EpicFamilyQuests
      @EpicFamilyQuests  25 днів тому

      Only a few. You have to do a Play Pass to get them all which is $50 quarterly or $90 for the year. But they do come out with new games, a couple per month.

    there are homebrew?

      What is homebrew?

    • @krizoluezek
      @krizoluezek 8 днів тому

      @@EpicFamilyQuests Homebrew, when applied to video games, refers to software produced by hobbyists for proprietary video game consoles which are not intended to be user-programmable. The official documentation is often only available to licensed developers, and these systems may use storage formats that make distribution difficult, such as ROM cartridges or encrypted CD-ROMs. Many consoles have hardware restrictions to prevent unauthorized development.
      Development can use unofficial, community maintained toolchains or official development kits such as Net Yaroze, Linux for PlayStation 2, or Microsoft XNA.[1] Targets for homebrew games are typically those which are no longer commercially relevant or produced, and with simpler graphics and/or computational abilities, such as the Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Genesis, Dreamcast, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation, and PlayStation 2.
      As hobbyists began to make unofficial games and homebrew for consoles, a number of groups were formed that involved homebrew as well as circumventing the hardware and software restrictions imposed on the consoles. One such group was Team Twiizers, created and founded by researchers Jack Bourne and Sam Tronson Jr. in 2007. Their name comes from a hardware exploit for the Wii that was performed by the team themselves. They remained active until 2012 when legal issues came in but then returned in 2019, with a name change of the group to fail0verflow. As of 2024, the team continues to make unofficial games and homebrew to this day, as well as researching on game console security.

    Orrrrr.... You could get a used Wii for $50 and extra games and controllers for $50. for a total of $100, unlimited nostalgia, and no subscription service. Do with this information as you wish
