We were bread to be tough, like literally tough as nails, we knew how to fight, how to be aggressive. But all of us might be as striotyped "manly" as a man can be, we never hurted weaker or minorities. It was considerwd against our "honor". Varoon I know that bro. I am from Bangladesh and we live in neighbouring countries and even if our everything is different, the conservative mentality is pretty similar so i meant that i am glad that people are talking about LGBT in India because that feels like a little hope. Gay marriage is considered a sin even in Christianity so I don't even want to bring religion here. Its just about the society. I don't know what felt offensive to you bro, sorry if I offended you because i had no intentions to.
Varoon I am not a Pakistani, I neither compared the countries nor the religions. You are forcefully trying to drag a wrong meaning out of my statement. As you have already dragged religion into it, so let me clarify that in 1971 Pakistani army killed many Muslims too so they didn't see any religion, just killed millions of BENGALIS which we are, don't teach me my history so not all Muslims are same. If someone is a murderer, he is a murderer, his religion didn't force him to kill, in this world, no religion tells their followers to kill other people, its considered a sin everywhere so don't blame Islamism. I never denied the fact that Muslims are not conservative about LGBT, of course they are, I didn't even compare Hindu or Muslim people, I just said that in some way or the other, the CONSERVATIVES of both the countries share pretty much the same mentality, i categorised them as conservatives not Hindu or Muslim. You did that. Not all Muslims are the same, just as not all Hindus are the same. Some people regardless of their religion will be open to LGBT and some people won't be, their mentality doesn't change according to their religion, their liberalism comes from modernisation. Some Hindu people are understanding towards LGBT community and some are not, some Muslims like me and my family will be understanding towards LGBT community and some won't be, but addressing every single Muslim as killers just because some inhuman people hurt other people who just CLAIM to be Muslims and portray Islam in a wrong way is really unfair. If a person is bad, he is bad, and he is considered bad according to his religion too, you are no one to blame. Every religion existing in this world considers being LGBT a sin so religion never even comes in this matter. I don't know what made you attack me. Bro just chill, nobody said anything to you.
It was really good to watch this video. All these guys seem to come from a place of privilege so I suppose that must have played a role in their being able to talk about being Gay in such a forthcoming way in a country like India. A small knowledge 😊:- Not all gays are feminine. Not all gays do makeup . Not all gays talk too much . Not all gays just want s*x. Gay or trans are not slang. calling gay or trans are not a cool joke . Transgenders may born transgender but, Gays are not born gay, It's the nature that make them choose to fell in love with same gender. Most importantly, Respect everyone Respect lgbtq Felling in love with someone is not a crime, regardless to any gender.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
okay so I'm 13 and very sure about being bisexual in a very homophobic bengali muslim family in a desi society . What I really love about this entire video is that MANY gay and lesbian people actually felt comfortable enough to comment about how they face different situations . From upper middle class to lower middle class , from hindu to muslim , from gujrati to Punjabi , everyone has their own story and voicing it out infront of so many people is so amazing to see . I am proud of everyone wether out of the closet or not YOU ARE AMAZING AND I LOVE YOU .
And just assume if this purple T-shirt guy is a bisexual and willing to marry u ..would u then agree to marry a bi-guy ???? Cross your heart and revert ...Dont just say yes coz u support them ...Be Genuine ..is it possible for a straight girl like u to marry a bisexual men ?
Women most often seem to be more accepting and tolerant as opposed to men. A lot of them probably have poor knowledge of homosexuality. They probably think it is a choice or a preference when it’s actually an orientation. It’s the way you are born, the genetics so I would say it is just as natural as anything else. It’s high time we accept homosexuality as naturally as we accept people from different community race colour caste religion etc. There is enough documented evidence in the Animal Kingdom on homosexuality. The stats says about 10% of any population is bound to be LGBT imagine in a country of 1.5 Billion people about 15 million people are forbidden by the law and forced to live a lie. Time to Change but Most importantly time to ACCEPT. Live and Let Live. Amen !!
I am proud of who you are.everyone deserve to live the way they want to and society should accept it but if you people say gay is something that people are born with then it is arguably... Love the way you are and if I were a gay, I wouldn't be ashamed to say
My parents are homophobic,my dad punched and hurt his small brother when he try to came out and he forcefully married him to a girl(at the time of 1995 now both old) and my mom is not much open minded and not much educated(she from village)... problem is I love them,If I will came out my mom will definitely die and if I will come out infront of my friends then there is chances to get my parents know... What can I do !?
Hey. I'm in a similar situation. The best thing we can do is first be economically independent, so that we are not dependent on our parents for anything. Then, if they don't accept us after coming out, we can probably move out till they understand or even if they never do, we can live our own lives...... Ik it's very hard, but let's hope for the best 👍🏻
Privileged or not, these guys are brave enough to embrace who they are! In 2021 ,99.99% are still homophobic, with dired deathly , consequences! 377 cut off from legal standpoint, but no difference at large! Politicians need to maje policies which should neutral and equal. Ishan rightly said don't be an ass as you don't know what exactly someone is going through,be it straight or gay! Once My Grandfather Said Out Of Anger Your Generation is crazy when I was young Now Today My Grandpa is no more Now I get How Accurate his assumptions were
Masculine and Feminine - both traits are present in a person...Gender tag - Male or Female - is given by this society. I believe as a straight man who understands spiritual aspects - even true religion accepts this reality and is inclusive of all that is manifested in this creation/projection....It is sad that our own country that was full of great souls is now filled with inconsiderate souls. But my fellow humans (whatever your sexuality is) - keep believing in yourself and be brave to come out in the open...World is changing and the new generation cannot remain in the closet - more and more people are becoming compassionate and we will accept you whole-heatedly!
This is a great video but try being more diverse with the cast maybe? All of them were pretty much from the same educated, urban and open minded background. Try it with gays who actually face rejection and humiliation from people around them, gays from small towns, gays raised in typical homophobic families and gays forced into heterosexual marriages etc. To cast light on the real problem. Apart from a few ridiculous questions and remarks, these respondents don't face average Indian gay problems.
you know what I feel when you look in the eyes of these men they look really sad! I feel they are lying that they have supporting environment. treat everyone with love and equality
I am myself bisexual. But I don't understand why so many gay or bisexual guys feel the need to act & talk in a cloying way. I mean it's funny & embarrassing. I think it's not about religion or society.. it's about our aunties 🐸🐸 this aunties are like omg vabi u knw wht her son is gay! Chi chi... 😑
u😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
Omg 😂😂😂😂
True Lmao but it's also about religion because most of the religions forbids homosexuality
@@asuka7892 religion is made by humans not by God. If God created them, then why would God himself hate his creation ? God loves everybody. So you can't say religion prohibits homosexuality 😌
@@santanukumarmahalik3286 majority of religion prohibits being gay, because a women and man can reproduce but a women and women or vice versa can't. That effects the balance in population, that may sound funny just like how China at this point is suffering from imbalance in population due to their one child policy, this is my point of view. Regardless God has prohibited drugs, in some cases alcohol but we as humans don't stop the consumption. The same goes to being homosexual, I feel neutral about it and for society also it will take time to accept them completely as who they are. I would leave God decision to God. As humans we should stop treating them as an alien or being offensive.

So empowering..
Our neighbors child who is abt 9 or 10 years old has so much of effiminate behavior, i mean all other his friends always talk about bikes and cricket whereas he always talk about dolls and makeup.
I just asked him that how do your parents behave with u? And he was like 'my dad beats me whenever i talk this girlish things!'
Ughh, I wish his parents could see this video..
They're human being and gays are not criminals so should be treated as normal humans.

Farha beauty well dear if it's so empowering would u ever marry a 'bisexual' man ? Coz your comment tells me u don't differentiste between normal And lgbtq man ...so would u proudly date or marry a bisexual man ? Keeping in my mind that he would also want to enjoy threesomes And so on ...?

Hii

that makes no sense. Especially when you say solved, there is no problem to be solved. Also putting a gay man (man attracted to men) and a lesbian woman (woman attracted to women) together would just make them miserable. Its like if someone put a straight guy with a straight guy. You can't force love and attraction
it may be a tardy, long post but one might still interest going through it.

I come from a background of tough people. I'm from the upper mountains of himachal(11000 ft above sea level).I have studied inna convent boys boarding school, all my life. We were bread to be tough, like literally tough as nails, we knew how to fight, how to be aggressive. But all of us might be as striotyped "manly" as a man can be, we never hurted weaker or minorities. It was considerwd against our "honor". I came from a really tough background of snow clad villages, but my parents,my culture,my environment never taught me how to distinguish someone just because they were different. I think that's what an actual man is. No chopping off huge logs for firewood or beating each other. It's about having honor and respect. Respect for others, pride and honor for ourselves.

These guys are so brave and cool. Like i can never have that much of confidence. Loved this video cause finally some mature people talked about LGBTQ 🏳️🌈 community in a developing country. ❤️️❤️️ to the boys.
Varoon Muslims in India can also be gay. You now that.
Varoon Can you just the f up. She/he was legitimately being nice here. Don't force your views on her/him.
Khondoker Zarin You don't have to reply to idiots like him/her.
It was really good to watch this video. All these guys seem to come from a place of privilege so I suppose that must have played a role in their being able to talk about being Gay in such a forthcoming way in a country like India. Otherwise, for an average Gay guy, it musn't be so easy to be open about his sexuality. Sad but true. Nice video 👍
That was really informative and kinda educational actually. Keep up the good work folks.

Amen !!
