"In its strictest sense, jury nullification occurs when a jury returns a Not Guilty verdict even though jurors believe beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant has broken the law. Because the Not Guilty verdict cannot be overturned, and because the jurors cannot be punished for their verdict, the law is said to be nullified in that particular case.”

Also, shame on the health care .
I went to ER for an hour where they did almost nothing and they sent me a bill for 10,000 with ins. other countries you can have perfectly good knee surgery for about 500 bucks. No insurance. The math doesn’t math. It means the average American is paying for at least one knee surgery a month without getting anything much for it. Meds cost almost nothing in other places because gov puts caps on prices. Here is one of few or only countries where med prices have no caps.
I don’t like this….i can’t be mad at this dude for giving us justice.
1/3 denied hospital treatment, wow .....
He single handedly changed the trajectory of Medicare. Many elderly and disabled thank him.... Strange?, sickening? Not really. Get to know the system
report more on united health care corrupted system please
Everything I've heard that Mr. Mangione supposedly wrote in his letter, about corporations in general and health insurance companies in particular, sounds absolutely correct.
The amount of news coverage, time, and resources spent on this, you can tell the suits and ties are shaking in their shoes. Seeing how truly fragile their grip is.
What i find weird about this case is the police releasing the information on the evidence they collected to the media. It's almost like they are trying to convince the public he did it before even going to court. Wouldn't they want to keep the evidence to themselves before trial? Just seems off to me
I thought the same thing.
They always do that to control the narrative, they probably asked his family to sign release form under disguise of helping
People don’t realize what’s happening until it happens to them
It’s weird right?! Every other case it’s crickets…
They’re desperately trying to get the public to turn against this guy , I’m glad America is finally fighting against the elites.
How do we know this man wasn't set up? He just happened to have a handwritten note on him explaining everything? And the gun? Same clothes?? Something funny about all this. And why are they afraid to let him speak to media?
If the goal is damage control, get a face on news networks, penalize the individual to the heaviest degree and hope that buys you enough time to figure out how to change the narrative or better.. the conversation
I’m not American but lived there for a while. My biggest worry while there was not crime but what if I got sick….
Ill never forget my mom had a life threatening accident while we were visiting Pennsylvania. Her insurance refused to cover it because they said she wasn’t in our home state (IL) when it happened. She had to pay the entire costs of $20,000+ out of pocket. Like how does that make sense?! Accidents can happen anywhere and you have insurance for that
What did the CEO do that got himself murdered? Deny people the medical needs they need in order to survive??
I can use a prime example Tom Brokaw has the same exact cancer my father “ had” Brokaw is alive and my father isn’t,tgat should be a human not as how medical treatments are dolled out to Americans…..
The outburst must be from him watching the news and realizing he's got support out there
He was on the run for multiple day with access to social media. He was using a laptop when he got caught. I’m sure he was already well aware of the support from the general public

Due process: Attention potential jurors.... during the juror selection process... it may be best to "appear impartial" (i.e., you are content/satisfied with your Health Insurance and you don't keep up with the news)... and ultimately let your final verdict be your statement!!!
But of course... as always, do what you feel is best for you, your family, your community, and our World.

On top of everything, health insurance is mandatory otherwise you gotta pay for choosing not to have one!?? If treatments are not getting covered, why would I want to pay for such service!!!???? Totally rigged!!!! Bs bs bs
Hopefully this story will lead to an actual discussion in the US of the appalling state of healthcare and how one can have health insurance but not actually have it.
Still waiting for one news reporter to ask why doesn't child murders get this type of coverage and "justice" 😂
I like how some people are like "Luigi's family is well-off" to add to their "arguments" for defending UnitedHealth and their now former-CEO.
Well, if even a claimed "Well-Off" family is unable to get proper insurance coverage, are getting their claims denied, suffer physically and mentally at the bureaucracy and hem-hawing of private insurance, then what the hell does that mean for the rest us not-well-off people?
Medicare For All NOW.
Universal health insurance now
No way government control, of healthcare would make things worst.
We need senate level healthcare… we’re paying for it for them

Don’t we think its time to have free healthcare in America? Oh, no? not yet? okay, cool
Nothing is free.
The amount of income taxes, property taxes, and consumer goods taxes we pay, we should have universal healthcare for all. That's why they want to get rid of the ACA because the next iteration IS universal healthcare.
I think we’ve learned a lot about who owns the media and the police.
