    And I will tell you if you're watching this, I have great sympathy for the lady from Trinidad. She seems to be going through this lots of time. It's very humiliating but she keeps calm. There are lots of good people out there who can only afford traveling in her style and means but with good intentions. Unfortunately many never make it through the immigration gates even when they already have visas. It's okay to keep the boarders functioning but unfortunately the process and system is very inhumane to so many coming from some jurisdictions of this one planet where we all have a right to live!!

    The fact that we get free documentaries on UA-cam by National Geographic is truly a gift. 👍👍👍
    May I also remind you the fact that our Native American population in our motherland, the Continent of America before the European Colonizers arrived, was around 15 millions, while the European population in their motherland, the Continent of Europe was around 25 millions.
    Today, Native American population is 15 million, while the European population, in the Continents of America + Europe, is a staggering TWO BILLION! A shocking sad truth. 😔
    In my humble opinion, it's about time to decolonize the Colonized lands, and return it to rightful owners Native American people.
    Notorious global cardinal crimes the Christian West has committed, and benefited a great deals, such as Slavery & Colonialism had long been over, why on earth is notorious Colonization still lingering on, may I ask? 😔

    • @cb3514
      @cb3514 6 місяців тому +2

      Neither, as no injustice or transgressions were committed. There are implied consent laws that exist in most countries that, after international travel, allow full search of any items/persons by customs & immigration officers on site. The official documents all passengers are required to sign during the purchase of said airfare, as well as at arrival, negates the expectation of privacy, the necessity of a warrant, and increases profiling those traveling amongst certain countries where specific contraband materials exist in elevated supply. It's not pleasant or politically correct, but does occur consistently across the globe as somewhat of a necessary evil.

      They keep calling Laguardia JFK.... What kind of journalism is this? They are literally lying about what airport they are at. The closest level 1 trauma center to Laguardia is Jamaica or New York Presbyterian Queens. This whole video is filled with lies. You should be ashamed Nat Geo.

      There are implied consent laws in most countries that, after international travel, allow full search of any and all items/persons by customs & immigration officers on site. The official documents all passengers are required to sign during the purchase of said airfare, as well as at arrival, negates the expectation of privacy and the necessity of a warrant to proceed. It is a necessary evil in an effort to protect citizens and streamline the process as much as possible. Imagine waiting on warrants during what is already a tedious & chaotic activity...

    The good news. The arrests change nothing. Consumption is at an all time high. Quality is growing better and better. A true solution would be to legalize it all. Then we would not have to face such inhuman treatment.

      That's good news? People losing lives to coke? Really?
      You people are delusional and imagine the only drug use is some student doing some MJ and don't see row of addicts with ruined lives, cartels and corrupt people making profit, some responsible for numerous murders.
