I have been to Vegas a dozen times in the last few years and agree with most points. I do take exception to the tipping rule. I recognize that most are paid in gratuities but I refuse to compensate poor service (which I've had on a few occasions). Employers raking in BILLIONS in profits should be able to pay their staff, but if they can't, I'll need staff to at the very least be respectful.
YES! 100% agree, and I should have added that caveat. Since tipping has become almost mandatory for every single sector of public service … there is an expectation of good service that must be upheld to warrant gratuity.
