I just bought 39 ounces of silver from APMEX which I will show you. But more importantly is what were the questions that I asked myself prior to choosing one silver product over another?

Given the option between 8 oz silver eagle or 10 oz bar, I personally would take the eagles. I like having smaller denominations of silver. I like fractional (junk) the best, but eagles are great too.
Fair enough! Small denominations do come in handy. I wouldn’t want zero!
I'm have an addiction for 10 oz bars. My top choice is the RCM followed by the Britannia then the Sunshine mint. I feel they are the optimum size, not too small yet not too small. I feel they are very fluid, even if spot takes a moonshot someone will want them.

Awesome video!! Do you leave the plastic covers on your RCM bars, or do you remove the covers? I would go for the bar first (since I don't currently have one), and then go back to the American Silver Eagles the next time. Thanks for sharing!
Yes I do leave them in plastic. But one is torn so I was thinking of either buying a $3 hard airtight case for it, or cut it out. My bars might get handled a bit more than other peoples! :).
I haven't bought tubes of eagles since 2020 when the Mint Direct tube was 530 USD, and I thought that was pricey at the time. I switched to RCM bars after eagles soared and I consider it a better quality item.

I recently adjusted my stacking plan to accommodate the new spot prices and premiums. If I'm looking to spend between $250 & $300, I'll buy a 10oz bar. If I'm looking to spend between $100 and $150 then I'll buy coins. So, it really all depends on what cash I have available at any given time. Also, it's good to have a diverse stack of both bars and coins, so you did the right thing buying both.
Depending on what's better priced (online deals and such), I would either buy 2 10oz silver bars or a 1/4oz Gold Eagle. Any higher than that, Gold is a better deal than Silver unless you buy a big bar, which I won't do, because I stack for liquidity. So I buy what will sell the easiest in any scenario. Premiums in wrong direction. Might take a couple or few months for a reversal. But what you hold is already bought and paid for! 👍
Early as. Stacker I focused solely on 100 oz bars, now I diversify into gold and other silver bars, rounds and coins. Ultimately tho having those 13 100 oz bars that will never be sold or traded, gives me a nice comfy cushion. I got more bang 💥 for my buck buying 100 oz bars. Now, I buy mainly Gold Buffalos or Gold Maples instead of silver . Getting out of debt was the only way I could do any stacking or reach my goals in a timely manner.

If it's a choice between RCM bars and Eagles the bars win pretty easily. If I was picking anything right now it would probably be generic silver rounds since the premiums have gone through the roof for many silver products again

I'm buying as much 90% as I can...I have been for 3 years now...I do have 10 ounce bars, very few eagles, maples, and lots of random 1 and 2 ounce rounds. The 2 ounce Egyptian rounds always do very well after they are no longer available...they usually sell for $40 plus per ounce on eBay. You can't go wrong with 2 ounce rounds!

I like a balance of bars and one Oz coins. I know where my silver and gold comes from so that is my main defense against fakes.

So far, I found the IMO to be Germania Bars from Monumental metals.....AGAIN just my Opinion. I suggest as you asked to go with Kilo Bars 32.15 ozs... Bottom line get the most Product for the money,.. No matter what you buy... IMO...

10 oz bars all day long. Love them. Just wish the premium on the eagles were reasonable because I'd definitely have more than just 3 tubes of them. I'll get a few each year moving forward but other than that I won't be stacking. Congrats Patrick

There's something to be said for having 1 oz Silver for smaller transactions and conversions. Maybe that's worth the extra premium?
I think so. I want some one ounces in the mix!
For me it would depend on your exit strategy with the cost spread for buy back and liquidity.
ASE goes for approximately $12 over spot and you can sell it for roughly $4 over spot for an $8 spread. But the ASE has the highest liquidity.
10oz RCM bars can go for $5 over spot and sell for $1 over spot for a $4 spread. Very high liquidity but not as much as ASE.
So for me, it’s still the RCM bar

The round trip costs are part of it. (Buyback). This video covered a lot of ground as it stood but hard to always factor all in one story.

I’m still trying to accumulate some weight so with the crazy premiums on ASE’s I would have to go with the 10oz bars. I would probably go with Scottsdale stackers cause they are about $20 less than the RCM bars but either way, the silver eagles are too rich for my blood currently.
Scottsdale is a popular well made product. And they stack!
Last month I bought backdate ASE rolls for $580, premiums and spot have gone up since then. Plan on trading them to Pamp kilo and Rcm bars when eagles hit $40 again

Friends I said Before, Silver it must go to zero IMO, why the Derivative's, If you Hold it Hide and Keep. I am not an advisor, But the Paper must be gone before the silver revalues IMO.... I know silver will go to zero I Prepared the wife. DO not throw it away, Then IMO 1:1 with gold.

No comparison here, it’s Eagles 🦅. Everybody knows, loves, and trusts Eagles 🦅, but not everybody loves bars, whether they be .9999 Canadian bars or not. The premiums suck, but you’ll recoup a little of it back from the sale of Eagles 🦅.

No. I tried to buy something off an Instagram post recently. But didn’t hear if I was quick enough. So likely not.
Really a tough call. May favorite bar is the 10 oz. RCM and my favorite coin is the ASE, but the premiums on them are not good.
I Do not care who's it is 10 oz .9999 bars with a COA are in my opinion the stopping point before getting serious......

Interesting, so I've been working on filling a monsterbox of those RCM bars and it looks like I can squeeze a total of 54 bars in the box. I'm currently sitting at 30, but if I chose the ASE's over the RCM bars I would've sacrificed a total of 108oz, keep in mind this logic should work with a more "bare bones" generic silver as well, so it comes down to what your intentionality is. I like to keep liquidity in mind because I've witnessed first hand my LCS dealer hesitate on buying 10oz OPM bars in the past. I have ASE's as well but haven't bought and since 2020 when I used to get them for $22/oz 😢

10 oz bars make more sense. even at ~$270 per rcm bar is better than ase’s at ~$34.50 each. i was really enjoying getting a few eagles and a few dollars face of 90% with each of my last few orders but that’s over now

Rounjds always pay out better when it comes time to cash out. Wasting money on Eagles. Proof sets are a scam when silver hit 50 dollars everything sold at 50. Didn't matter what type it was it was all about weight.

Selling eagles at the right time has paid a lot more.
If people are paying high premiums for eagles, you can sell and capture some or most of that premium.

@Silver Heist I've been "Stacking" for over 40 years and I do not own a single "Buffalo" bar or Buffalo round or any other no name "generic" silver, I believe it's always worth paying the extra dollar or so to buy Sunshine bars, and not Apmex bars or any other bars with a retailers name on it either. Your LCS (or most anyone else) would rather buy the Sunshine bars when it comes time to sell.
But when Canadian Mint bars are only like $.50 over Sunshine bars, I do go for the 10oz Canadian Mint bars for sure

i am not a believer in the notion that trade is going to evolve into barter with 1 oz coins without any government endorsement. if there is no government providing law and order, it doesnt matter which you choose as food water and guns will be the only currency. assuming governments remain in existence then bars are a better investment while eagles are nice to collect on the side.
I am leaning towards more weight in the form of bars for similar reasons.

When silver demand goes up, ten Oz bars get harder to find … but I think if you go to enough places you’ll find them in stock or on pre-order with a set expected date.
Set up an alert with Monument Metals, those bars sell out fast but you'll be notified once they're back in stock. In my past experience, Monument often ships out sooner that their expected ship date.
Eagle premiums are through the roof. I'll take the bar.

Here is the answer to your question, Silver Heist. Neither 10 oz silver bars nor silver eagles. Silver is a bad investment. It's barely rising. It's fallen more than its risen. From $50 an ounce in 2011, it's performed horribly. You should save all your money, don't buy any more gold and silver, Silver Heist. Go on a nice vacation with your money to an exotic place every year.
The gold is in the mix. Travel is also possible! ✈️
