Lord this is sinister. I'm pretty sure my therapist would have some very sharply negative things to say about training yourself to see everyday occurrences as potential Instagram posts.

Full disclosure, my music career is in limbo right now because of financial issues and I'm sure you wanted to talk because you thought I could be a potential client. honestly I kinda love the Burstimo vids which is why I subbed. feels like your viewpoint on sharing music makes sense. Main thing I want is to make music every day - for that to be a life-long reality, I need a fanbase - means I need exposure. it's exciting to share my best work with people, but also hard to figure out and a bit intimidating. this vid helped a lot - especially for reassurance ^_^
Interesting video guys! Your one of the only music marketing youtubers I trust these American guys seem to chat so much waffle when it comes to marketing, nowadays whenever I'm listening to an artist on Spotify I like I tend to check out there Instagram profile to see if there is anything on there I can model, for the most part electronic producers suck at social media marketing! It amazes me how many people don't post regularly or have really boring content ( no one cares about your screen recording of your song played on the radio!!!) I'm at ground zero with 88 followers -mostly friends & family but hey its a start, I did also remove 20 followers that were spam accounts.This has definitely given me some ideas at what to post as currently have removed all my posts to start a fresh.
As an upcoming artist I find this very useful

How often should one post(as a musician) when starting out in Instagram?
this is a great video, i have a question. how much UA-cam content do yu consume vs create, Ive been gambling and losing if you know what I mean!
The moment you need to post something is when you better go back to the studio and make a greater song because social media is killing creativity for music artists, labels should have those accounts by contract.

what’s your guys’ opinion on posting hashtags in the comments of your posts? worth it or does it make your content look bad?
Not something that we do for our artists, but if you want to do it then there's no harm in it. But if you can afford $5 then spending that on promoting your post to those with the interests of your chosen hashtags would go a lot further
Should I create a new account for my artist stuff or should I just use my regular account that already has the same name as my artist name but I’ve always used it as my personal account in the past ?
I remember somebody added 1000 views to one of my IG vids and I didn't even ask them to they just did it after saying they were going to lmao

Social marketing, to a set list of 'friends' no less, for the majority of the time and THEN whatever's left for your music and practice...kind of a fleeting combo. The house wins first btw (IG, FB, TikTik, etc ad-nauseum).

Is Instagram still worth it?
Nope. It's not even close to Tiktok exposure and even worse IG has poor sales/monetize conversions
Must practice less consumption and more production.
