What really hurts my eyes is how the aircraft modeler doesn't know how to get shade smoothing under control (flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, wing cutouts, canopy frames). The planes may be cheap, but a year down the road, I only see a lousy plane in my hanger but don't remember how much I paid for it. But yes, the scenery is totally worth it!
Thanks for your review. Even as a military veteran and history student, as much as I love the era and the pacific theater, this dog won’t hunt. Thanks again ❤
I agree. I think it's worth the asking price even if just for the scenery alone. Being a fan of the Japanese Zero, i could have fun with this. If anything, it could make for some nice videos
Currently in Japan, there are almost no people who create aircraft for MSFS. I would like to thank the author for selling it at this price along with the beautiful scenery.
From what i can see, I tend to agree with a lot of the comments on “poor” for audio/textures. However… I almost wonder if they had sold it as scenery with multiple free aircraft “for the beginner” whether it might have been received better in the market. I always look for positives: i like the scenery (esp. as i am now into helicopters and really enjoy the Philippines area). And i liked the rudder pedals which looked extremely well-used. I also found the “Gollum” pilot to be quirky enough to like, maybe flying it with a skeleton co-pilot (from Got Friends). I also like seaplanes, so I liked that variant.
While a student of the events from WW2, I don't know that I would actually even fly with this kit as I don't even fly any of the modern fighters available to the sim. Thanks for the review just the same.
I'd pay a buck and a half for this to use as an AI against the Corsair. If that were even possible. Looks like absolute crap. Thanks for the review Angel. You're one of my favorites. Actually...maybe my favorite.
The scenery could actually be fun. Using it along with the Wildcat, which can actually drop bombs, is making me rethink this. Bombing those ships and strafing the closest thing we'll get to combat in msfs. I guess Avangel is right, I can justify it by telling myself I bought scenery that came with a free airplane.
The scenery is the only part of this that is worth anything. The Rufe is a very interesting variant of the Zero and I like the Zero, however the three planes are not even worth the download if they were freeware, they are ~that bad. So, get the set, delete the planes, and buy a good WWII warbird from Aeroplane Heaven. I would even go so far as to say that the free Zero I got in Second Life is better than these things.
You are costing me a fortune hahaha. I'm off to look for the American fleet. Tora! Tora!.....Thanks for honest opinion. I get it, Simple, but with scenery and imagination...it'll be fun.
@@AvAngel BeeKay is the same developer and if the scenery is as good, I will get it ! Love flying around the island and the tenders and carriers. I will just fly the terrain if the Sunderland is bad.
i bought this on marketplace, its kinda basic but fun,the scenery is cool, but i have a constant problem that the plane shakes in the sky,has anybody experienced this????
Those sounds yuk!! That's a deal-breaker for me. When are developer going to learn that sounds are 33% of the immersion factor? Flight model (33%) and appearance (33%) are the other...

Yes, no Fs20 aircraft designers in Japan, it's a pity... there were plenty of them in the old CFS days... 😢
Great presentation....It actually seems a good fun pack, certainly value for money...Thank you for your time and effort....Roger..Pembrokeshire

milviz working on it, but who knows when it will out:)

Great ! There's always room in my hanger for another warbird :)
I have a huge interest in the IJN, and so the Zero is of great interest. The actual Zero, I mean... not this one. 🤣
Any chance you could review the Sunderland from the same developer as this?!?
Offered on the Marketplace with scenery. Same as this.
I will be, not the same though I think.

The zero was very agile due to being very light weight. That roll rate is to slow.

Ha haha you crash long time.😂
It's getting worse and worse with the addons. Total waste of money. Sorry, but this is a joke. 😑
Agree. This could be a free ware Addon for FSX which could've been found on simviation back in the day
