Hi mate Boss set up I'm British Army (RECCE PLT) that's the way we used to setup in Belize jungle with just 2 differents for speed but we we're full Tac,, great video good effort mate 💪
Thank you very much for a great video. I am new to hammock camping and have been using a continuous ridgeline and really do not like the sag. I plan to reconfigure my tarp using your setup. Thanks Again
Hell of a setup! May you please show/direct me to watch/explain how to connect the shock cord and the Z-line together for the door tie-outs? I've seen other videos using shock cord, I've seen other "door mods", but never an in-depth/closer look at the knots/lines/ties, for making "hybrid" tie-outs.
You mean guy lines with a shock cord tensioner? Shug has a tutorial in one of his videos. Basically you just create two clove hitches in the line and poke each end of the shock cord through. Doesn't seem like it would hold, but it does. For extra security you can put an overhand knot in the ends of the shock cord but it isn't essential
Great video! Like your idea about connecting and leaving the fleaz on the split rings. Just getting into hammock camping and plan to use a set-up similar to yours.
Great vid- I'm definitely going to use your idea with the mitten hooks and sand them down.. Did you seam seal your guy out attachments? I just did because they recommended it.. Haven't had it out in a storm like you, but I'm looking forward to it! Thanks for your review..
+HaussMcGosa That's a Fronkey style net. If you do a search on YT for Fronkey bug net, you'll see how it's made. They can also be purchased now through a couple vendors.
