I _never_ heard the _ng_ at the end of "young." I _always_ heard "Yo! Danny Fenton, he was just 14." Maybe because the song is a rap, it kind of made sense in my mind for it to start with "Yo!" Plus, I think "yo" has more punch, and the singer puts a lot of punch into that word.

In all honestly, Danny Phantom is 1 of my favorite characters of all time. Mainly because he has alot in common with Peter Parker, but the fact that there is so much potential in his character. I always wanted to see a darker version of Danny. I mean in tone, like keep 100% of the characters personality and combine it with a darker world. Age it up a bit, his world is literally perfect for full on horror. I miss this character so much. Actually hunting for merch at the moment.

Right? Maybe MOST Ghost Are Not Dead,But Some Are? Like,Ember And Desire Were Once Humans That Died But Other Ghosts (Like Maybe Skullker) Are Not? It Would Help If Mr.Hartman Was More Clear About The RULES Of The Ghost Zone. Mostly 1. When He Says Says Ghost Does He Mean Ghost Or SPIRIT? And 2. How Do You Become HALF Ghosts? It's A Great Series,But There Are A Lot Of Logistics That Are Never Really Explained And It Makes It Hard To Understand How That Universe Works.
There a several ghosts confirmed by the show itself to be ghosts of dead people. Poindexter, Deserie, the Lunch Lady, and Ember.
However Butch seems to have changed his mind on the idea of ghost's in DP being actual dead people and would prefer that part of the show be ret-coned and swept under the rug.

I would honestly donate to Butch Hartman to buy back the rights to Danny Phantom.. honestly this show has so much potential despite it’s cancellation in 2007, great show and I will never forget it, I still watch it to this day and still get super excited each episode

Grew up enjoying Danny Phantom, and freaking love this channel, especially the ten years later videos! It's one thing to see a fan create "Ten Years Later" art, but the actual creator of the series? Heck yeah!
Fun fact, Danny Phantom's first episode premiered on my 11th birthday (and now it's my 25th birthday today... GEEZ, time flies!). I think one reason I enjoyed Danny Phantom so much was that it felt very similar to Spider-Man, one of my favorite comic book super heroes, and there were many parallels I found in the series:
Dash Baxter - Flash Thompson
Skulker - Kraven the Hunter
Older Danny - Venom
Vlad Plasmius - Possibly inspired by the Green Goblin? Or we could say a mix of Green Goblin and Morlun
Technus - Electro?
Danny Phantom's definitely one of my all-time favorite series, and I'd love the opportunity to see how the characters grew up, how a new series would have matured, etc.

P.P.S. I'm not sure if you heard of the classic Humongous Entertainment kids game "Pajama Sam", but for some reason, Pajama Sam reminded me of a very young Danny Phantom! Any correlation, or just coincidence? ;)

In question of what happens to Danny and Sam, people have been asking if this hints at a possible revival or reboot of the original Danny Phantom series. Can you shed some light on this topic of the shows possible reboot please?
Nick owns the rights to the show. Butch does not, and no longer works there. So it's all kind of up in the air, with a solid no.
TheCNotes1 Butch has talked about buying the rights for DP back though. With enough support, it could very well happen.

God, it is so cool that you put fanart art in the outro screen, not enough UA-camrs show off what the community has made and focus only on what they themselves have made.
I love your Danny Phantom vids! Would love to hear your take on why the color scheme shifts when Danny goes ghost. My theory was always that ghosts see color differently than humans and we are just seeing the world from Danny's "ghost view".

But I guess there should be more things like:More ghosts allies ( don’t counting Dani and frostbite) and also I have some questions like why Dan Phantom (Dark Danny) didn’t appeared more? Do you think there should be a episode when Clockwork asks for help and send Danny and his crew to save the future with the help from good Danny Phantom and crew 10 years later (24 years old) against the evil version?
So Danny at this point is 28. Pretty cool. Always loved the show, from the moment it came out. I've watched the series all the way through at least a half dozen times, and I wish it could've gone so much longer. If it ever comes back, I don't care how old I am, I'm gonna check it out.

I liked how sometimes they actually made sense with the situation, like in the episode when Tucker gets mind controlled by the mummy guy (forgot the title) and he has to push the big rock and it keeps falling, he says "Myth of Sisyphus!" (Sisyphus was a guy from Greek mythology, his punishment in the afterlife was to push a boulder up a hill, but every time he got there it would roll back down to the bottom and he had to start all over again)
I always had the biggest crush on Danny Phantom. Since it came out in my pre-teen years I'm pretty sure it literally influenced my taste in men a little.
I really like danny phantom and i think it needs to come back and have a new season they can do a lot with it so it needs to come back with a new season

I adore Butch's attitude. Most writers aren't as enthusiastic about their show and characters. You can really tell how much of himself he put into creating and sustaining the Danny Phantom legacy.

Love Danny Phantom. I was 14 too when it premiered. It did help me survive my teen years. Not just in a small way but in major ways. I am thankful for that.I would absolutely love to know how Danny and Sam are now. I'd love to know how all of them are! I liked how the 10 years later DP videos gave us a little preview. It filled in gaps that Nickelodeon left us with. I'm excited for the possibility of getting more elaborate details on that!How does the Fenton family, Tucker and Sam make a living off of ghost fighting anyway? Is it similar to how the police work?

Wasn't there a nerdy kid in the mirror? I'm pretty sure he was alive at some point. There's that Genie who died of a broken heart and old age and Vlad's hunting trophies whatever you call it but there were ghost animals in the show.
Yeah it seems sorta inconsistent in that aspect, also consider the dairy king when we first meet vlad, Another ghost animal is the dog with the axiom labs color the made Valerie take up ghost hunting that had to come from axiom labs.
To be honest there was a genie (Desiree) that died of a broken heart. SO there is ghost that died and is really a ghost.

I got an idea of how some some ghosts died. Like Ember likely died of a suicide, Box Ghost was probably a guy who died from falling boxes, Kitty and Johnny 13 likely died in a motorcycle accident, Youngblood probably died from something like child abuse, Sidney Poindexter probably died from suicide due to bullying. Those are just my theories though.
Minako Hiashi I think what he means is ghosts that are based on real people... that’s what it sounds like anyways, but still the way he words that is just bad. Cause there are most definitely real ghosts on that show, such as Desiree and Poindexter.

Even the Lunch Lady ghost is practically confirmed to be a previous lunch lady of Casper High because she wears the same uniform, and she was the first villain of the series.

Alright, gotta say it's weird hearing you use the slang us phans have been using for years. I started lurking at a Danny Phantom forum in 2006, joined in 2008.... I didn't know how to access my email, I tried joining before then but couldn't. Anyways, we celebrated the Danniversary every year, even after we moved on from the forum, we went back that one day a year to celebrate. It's sadly closed down now but oddly enough, a nice amount of the members are apart of the Danny Phantom Facebook group & it was so weird being reunited with some of them after all this time.
This video is less of 14 facts about Danny Phantom & more of how the show is so awesome. I was 12 1/2 when the show premiered, most kids my age moved on from cartoons & only watched animation aimed at adults but at the time, I needed something for kids my age because I love animation but I wanted something I can relate to, Danny Phantom did that for me. I even remember making a big deal out of my 14th birthday in 2005 since I was finally as old as Danny. I'm 26 now, it was weird being as old as Jazz ten years ago, now I'm just trying to figure where all that time I lost went.
Pretty much everything said here makes up the reasons why this is my favorite show, I could go on all day explaining why Danny is so relatable but there's other things such as the relationships, this has the best relationships I have seen in most TV shows. Sam & Tucker fighting in the first episode had me questioning their stability as friends & throughout the series the friendship wasn't perfect, it was normal, felt real. Jazz & Danny were great, it made me wish I had an older sister just like Jazz but sadly, I'm the older sister & it's a hard job, I can relate to Jazz in a few ways but I was never super smart. In a few ways, my younger sister is like Jazz in that she thought she was an adult, even as a young teen but she's also extremely different from Jazz, she's like a combination of Jazz, Paulina, Desiree, & Kitty.
More on relationships, my favorite probably has to be with Danny & his parents, that's what got me hooked when I saw the show for the first time which was the first episode, Mystery Meat. Danny questioning if he should tell his parents about his powers, his parents believing Jazz is a ghost & seeing how they react to it, all of that had me wanting to know where this family dynamic was going to go. I still wonder how things would turn out if they found out he's half ghost at certain points in time like if he confessed in the first episode, would he get the same treatment as Jazz, if it was discovered during the Million Dollar Ghost when Jack thought he had caught Danny, what if the trap the two were in was ghost proof so Danny couldn't phase them out in in trying to do so, it hurt him & he reverted back, how would Jack respond? In that case it's after they made their truce & are on alright terms so I feel that would make an interesting mixup in the whole thing. I like the question being answered in Reality Trip but that's one point in time when certain things were certain ways & under certain conditions, it could go different ways under different conditions in other points in time. Phantom Planet had everything on good terms given what happened but rewind to season one, it's a whole other story.
That obviously isn't the only thing that had me hooked in with the relationship, the mother & son bonding as well as the father & daughter bonding in Maternal Instincts was sweet & had me going back to that episode hundreds of times over. That whole family I swear in another reality has a sitcom based around them, the music used in the show we know almost reflects that.
Thank you for this fantastic show, I will continue loving it for years to come.
I have a fun request to ask. What do you think would have happened if Jazz was the one who got the ghost powers instead of Danny?
I Think Jazz Might Be A Bit Too Anal For Ghost Powers. She's Not As Good At Going With The Flow And Adapting,As Danny Is (Something You NEED To Be Able To Do,To Fight All The Different Kinds Of Ghost That Danny Fights).
Jazz would likely have a very hard time of it. She didn't really have friends like Danny to help her, hated ghosts at first, and didn't have the same seance of personal responsibility Danny does.
Likely she would have kept it a secret out of shame and tried to analyze her powers and find a cure. She might have tried to be a hero once the ghost became a very big problem but would have been way worse at it due to lack of support and inability to adapt. I imagine Danny would have found out about her powers fast, confronted her about them, and wound up being her support.
Oh! Great idea! I'd like to see a character design episode akin to ten years later except the kicker being what would all the other main characters looks like if they had been the ones that got ghost powers instead.

I found out about your channel just a few days ago and now I'm watching all the vids about Danny Phantom! It was my favorite cartoon of all times!!! It left a mark in my teenage days, please make it come back!!!
I love the fact that every episode had some moral, but what I loved more is the fact that you made a villain that wasn't a gym teacher but a counselor (spectra). Danny Phantom for life
14 greatest things about Butch Hartman:
14. His hair. You could see anyone with that hair style and immediately recognize that it's Butch's.
13. Bunsen is a Beast. A short lived series that had some funny moments.
12. His dedication to Nickelodeon. The man work there for 20 years for crying out loud!
11. The Fairly Oddparents pilot. It is a beautiful work of art that started a whole new Nicktoon.
10. TUFF Puppy. Didn't get ratings as good as FOP or Danny Phantom but was still a very funny, very energetic show!
9.Timmy Turner. While some may argue that he became a whiny, spoiled brat in later seasons, you can't deny the fact that we all loved and looked up to him when we were kids.
8.School's Out! The Musical. Got us all pumped up for the approaching summer break, and made us kids feel empowered!
7. Phantom Planet. While many people say it was a terrible ending to Danny Phantom, be happy that we at least GOT an ending. How weird would it be if the series ended at D-Stabilized? Plus Butch worked as hard as he could, as fast as he could in order to give us a proper finale.
6. Channel Chasers. The greatest Fairly Oddparents movie he ever made. Taught us all that we have to grow up someday, but we don't have to be afraid of doing it.
5. Dani Phantom. An awesome character from Danny Phantom who deserved to be in more episodes. Butch actually wanted to make more episodes with her and Danny becoming siblings, but Nickelodeon got in the way.
4. All Danny Phantom Villains. They were all unique and diverse, and they made the show interesting.
3. The Fairly Oddparents. Second best show he ever made. True I personally didn't like the show after Sparky and Chloe were added, but before them the show was gold!
2. His dedication to serving the Phan base. He would give us back Danny Phantom if he could.

The best thing about Danny Phantom was the versatility. Danny had his typical human problems, unusually kooky parents, and a superhero career complete with an extremely unique set of abilities that we just don't get to see on television. Adding in the extra dimension and all the possibilities for completely out-there ghosts gave this show so much space to work with.
I'm just sad you guys weren't given enough time to show us more of that freedom. Danny Phantom still had so much life left in it.
Although I would love having that sweet hoodie, I just want to say that Danny Phantom made my childhood amazing. I still watch the show regularly - since I have all the episodes on DVD - and I will always love the special universe you created. I'm definitely bringing the show with me when I start college in the fall. :)
