In Japan they refer to pretty much all animation as anime to my understanding so oddly enough America almost has it's own definition of anime.
Not only the USA bro most countries that aren't Japan use the term to refer to animation from Japan different from the way they use it in Japan/Japanese language.
True but either way it boils down to anime now being an English word and anime (アニメ) being a different Japanese word, practically speaking. So everyone is correct!

I agree that anime is an entirely separate genre unto itself, but in Japan the word "anime" literally means animation. Within their language they use the word "anime" to describe any and all forms of animation, even Western cartoons and fully CGi animation projects.
This guy is literarily gifted in entertaining in just doing normal stuff lol I don’t usually watch stuff like this but he knows how to keep a good audience and entertained just like his shows . Good job your the best .

Technically, anime is any cartoon made in Japan. Anime doesn't have to be in a manga style, but that's how we associate it

The term anime is getting vaguer by the minute once you know some facts about it. The production is still handled by japan though.

I'm an aspiring cartoon artist/comic book artist whatever as long as I get to make stories and characters. Every time I feel burnt out or discouraged, I watch one of these videos and Butch immediately reminds me why I picked up a pencil in the first place. Thank you so much for what you've done and what you still do! I'm sure a lot of artists who watch your stuff feel the same!
Butch Hartman is a nice man it comes to be based on what I have seen in his videos he is not a conceited man I mean of course he is not he makes cartoons to make little kids happy I mean adults like me watch cartoons,cartoons make me people feel like they are close to the characters. Cartoons make kids grow up knowing they had a good childhood also back in the days there were good cartoons such as:fairly odd parents,danny phantom,spongebob(still airing on tv today),rugrats,that’s all I can think of at the time
And the cartoons nowadays like bread winners pickle and peanut they suck but that’s my opinion

Theoretically if Nickelodeon gave up the IP and gave it back to Hartman, he could continue it on Netflix or the Noog Network.
The answer is cash. Nickelodeon wouldn't give up the shows they already own, even if they don't use them, because it's bad business. In order for Danny Phantom to return, either Nickelodeon puts someone else in charge of it, chancing that the change will work, or someone/a studio invests a lot of money to buy the rights of ownership for the show from Nick.
i agree a new danny phantom could be a great story if it returned and be relatible to people who watched the series before.
If he had the rights back to do that, he should just do a continuation from where the last episode left off of try to squeeze in between second-last episode and the last episode. Also hope no gross humor like farts or twerking either. xD -Please no twerking ghosts-

Cartoons are primarily for kids, sure, but most adults are still a kid at heart. They make me laugh, happy, etc. and if I want to see a more adult oriented cartoon something like Steve Dildarian's The Life and Times of Tim or Animals on HBO come to mind. And of course there's Hentai but we won't discuss that here. ;)

My classmates make jokes about disney and they say that disney is boring and for kids. When they say that i'm so frustrated! I don't think i'm the only one who likes disney in my class because my friend once said that she likes disney but she's really scared of reactions. A week ago i did a english presentation about disney and i don't care if it's just for kids in their eyes i like it so deal with it.

Dark Deception At the end of my presentation i told them that my favorite disney song was I see the light from tangled and i even made them listen to the song. Most of them made jokes about it and after my presentation my friend said that it was boring. My classmates do have a really bad taste. Luckily for me i have two great friend on skype and they like disney and like cartoons and i'm probaly going to meet them in real life this summer.
