Watched quite a bit of salvage repair , the lightly damaged stuff seems to be the thing to do , less parts to source , less risk of finding something horrible. Phil is obviously a smart buyer .
Very common here in the US - the petrol ones, no diesels. IRC some of the gas engines were actually from Renault. Even the "Mercedes" engines were from Renault. They still make Infinitis, just not this one. Considered at the low end of luxury cars, they generally have generous lease deals that appeals to people who want a luxury car but really can't afford one.....
Good to to see you again Phil, hope you are well. You certainly have a knack for spotting the right car👍 Amazing all the parts that came with it. Nice quality motor 👍😎
Definitely a Northern Ireland plate without a doubt. I would get rid of it and ask the DVLA if they can reassign a UK mainland plate on it. You need to fill in an application form V55/4 (for new vehicles) or V55/5 (for used vehicles) £55 registration fee
It's a City of Derry registered car which were all assigned UI registrations (eg XUI 2213). And before anyone shouts it's LONDONDERRY it's not lol. County Derry or County Londonderry registered cars are now assigned IW registrations (eg RIW 111).
The guy that owned the rights to sell them (some shiekh apparently ) wasn't making money so pulled the franchise but kept the buildings. Not surprised as the Leeds showroom was pretty nice but never anyone in it. Bizarrely it then was used by Cazoo so failed again.
❤ That headlight situation is utterly ridiculous: manufacturers should keep a reasonable supply of all parts for their cars. And we wonder why insurance premiums are sky high!!!
Another solid video, Just straight to the point with everything! We released a portable jump starter. Can we invite you to do a review? We have emailed for an inquiry.
Definitely not a Irish plate, not even sure it is a Northern Ireland plate. All Northern Ireland plates have a Z in the 3 letters....plus when you do an MOT such it's never been moted in Northern Ireland 🤔
All new cars registered in Northern Ireland don’t need an MOT until its 4th year then every year thereafter unlike in England where it is 3 years then every year
NICE JOB LOOKS BRILLIANT

Good to see your back Phil great result on the car 👍
Why don't you have sponges on the stand you had the bumper on? Could mark it!
He has foam pipe lagging on the stands, just like every other bodyshop.
Thought you’d driven off into the sunset in the C63. Shortage of parts seems to be a huge headache for insurers and repairers. Choose wisely Phil.
Always enjoy your videos Phil, shame they are months apart, nice car.
It's a GLA skin with Nissan chassis Renault engine Mercedes gearbox Infinity Badge
A Frankenstein car then
Hi Phil good to see you back I’m interested can you message me with a price please if it’s still available
Wonder if it was involved in a bump or thieves have stripped it as they couldn't get parts 🤔🤔🤔
Nice one mate if only they were all as straightforward as this! Is there a reason you don't go over the costs and profit at the end of a vid?
Welcome back

Good to see you Phil nice to see a car manufacturer not having to code the headlight when you swap one over.👍👍👍👍👍
Welcome back mate. Get a price on the channel. Someone will fancy buying it.
Loved the reference to the help you had to clean the car. 😂

Great video phil , just wish you would do more ?! No service history, thought yo would do a oil and filter change to be on the safe side ?
@forevered4270 thanks, it's had oil and filter, probably should have mentioned it in the video 👍
Great job.
Very nice car , infinity and beyond 👍

Stopped selling them in the UK a couple of years ago, not sure why but I think you can still buy them new in other countries

@@leedstown to much golf mate 😬
Not that it means owt, but could it be just a random private plate that someone’s put on ? £100 of reg transfers for Irish plates??
That’s exactly the same under the bonnet as a Mercedes Gla I’ve just repaired
have you been on holiday?????
@frankyates7910 I have but not for 9 weeks 😬

I think that’s the first Northern Ireland registered car you have had
If you look up 2025 Infiniti QX80 (MSRP $104,995 CA) you will see Infiniti still sells in North America.
Biggest mistake Nissan made I worked on them loads of software problems
