- EPISODE 111:
Hi there everyone and welcome back to another episode of PrestigeLiquidsWW. Today's whisky review features The Singleton Malt Master's Selection. The Singleton Malt Master's Selection is an NAS single malt Scotch whisky. It is bottled at 40%ABV. As far as I know, it is non chill filtered and contains colouring.
This is a very enjoyable whisky that is definitely aimed towards a developing palate. I also feel that this whisky would be a perfect gateway for bourbon drinkers wanting to explore the Scotch world.

I do accept samples from distilleries from time to time, however I will always make it blatantly clear that a video contains a sample provided by a distiller. All sample providers agree that samples will only be accepted if I am able to review them honestly and without any outside influence. My reviews and thoughts are 100% my own.

Agree, definitely an entry level as is their '12. Acceptable for someone new to scotch, but possibly never again revisited? Thanks for posting the honest review Andrew.
I still need to try the 12. I am interested to compare them
Never even seen this bottle. It’s unique looking and the spirit sounds refreshing too. Cheers Andrew
The bottle is beautiful🤣. And yes, it is a refreshing whisky🤣
I did not enjoy their 12 year very much, but this sounded like it had more going on. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching 🤣
Have to agree, I didn't enjoy the 12 either. I found it one dimensional with an overriding aggressive alcohol nose. Then again, it does sell and I've heard mentioned they can be variable. But once bitten ...
Not had this one mate, but good to hear your thoughts on it. I find the standard ok, but unremarkable. Cheers🥃
I think that feeling is mutual for a lot of people with this one😁
Great review. I have not had a Singleton release but have been tempted a few times to get one of their cheaper bottlings. Cheers.
They are definitely worth trying
I am trying this while watching this video to see if I get similar tastes to others and very much agree with the saltiness and bourboun barrel flavours, but to me it was more caramel heavy on the nose and had a strange rotten fruit sweetness to it. All in all it's not anything amazing or complex, but it's also not offensive. If your bottle shop charge $50 for this and $50 for a blended chivas regal or jameson or a jim beam, this is probably a better choice for the average consumer.
Thanks for commenting, it definitely isn't an offensive whisky and certainly great value. I hope you enjoy the channel.
Why is the bottle greenish blue ?
Because of the sky, and that is how the bottle is.
In my opinion Malt Masters 3yo is much more fruity than 12yo. 12 is much more woody.
I have heard that. Thanks for watching👍
Bottled in leven Diageo
It is still a very nice whisky regardless.
I get smashed really quick drinking this compared to other scotches or vodka , not sure why......, I really like it though 😂🇦🇺🤙
It is awesome stuff. I guess you just really liked it🤣
