Definitively prefer freshy over Peter for godzilla, but prefer Loyd for kong. Overall pretty dam good.
Same, Lloyd just brought a lot more color in his performance. But Peter's Godzilla was too distorted (esp verse 1)

4. The delivery of "You couldn't measure up to the SHIN OF GODZILLA" was fucking amazing

No clue why ERB made the decision to make Godzilla entire rap in the old muffled style. I get the reason, but just as a reference would have been much better. That seems to be the only complaint from most people. But the lyrics are awesome. So cool to now see a version thats much cleaner with audio.
The battle audio is very clear people just arent good at hearing
@ijionclifton9148 agree to disagree, freshys audio for Godzilla is much more clear than erb, just like people have commented here that they can understand Godzilla in this one, Hence why there's so many comments saying on ERB that they are glad subtitles are on the battle. Not that people can't hear it, but there's just a very big use of distortion, which is obvious and is what makes it muffled and you can't deny that. Even tons of reactors and other artists pointed it out, not just countless comments on the actual ERB video saying so. Just an over use of distortion but it was their artistic and creative choice, so that's what we got. Still an awesome battle either way.
Okay, strangely cathartic seeing freshy cover ERB. And damn does it go hard!

The original battle felt like Boba Fett through a guitar pedal vs Thanos. It's not really NicePeter/EpicLloyd's fault, they have been doing battles for 10 years, but the (admittedly, decently large) ranges of their voices is finally starting to show.

I think the pacing of what godzilla's saying is a little off, he says the nintendo line a little fast, but the voice is generally better. I still like the original kong's voice better, especially the part with the balloons
I prefer the original Godzilla voice and fact they didn’t speak the “here’s your sign” line but I’ll say the kong voice is a bit better here. I do slightly prefer the original battle though
