- "The Feverish Trinity", a trilogy of songs with accompanying videos that, according to SOILWORK, would 'celebrate the Babylonian Death Goddesses that once made the world a more feverish and exciting place'. SOILWORK take their last steps on this journey that led us to the abysses and dark sides of humanity and release the final installment of this entity: "Death Diviner".

"Death Diviner is the final installment in the Feverish trilogy, the end of the path that Feverish and Desperado set us upon. The overall theme of these three songs is an attempt to describe the otherworldy, the emotions your body can’t contain and the desperate measures you take when you feel that there is something out there calling for you, something much bigger than you, but you know that if you could reach it, talk to it, you’d feel a sense of belonging for the first time in your life. Because that’s what we all miss, isn’t it? We all want to belong somewhere, but it never feels right. You always have that itch, that slightly uncomfortable feeling that you could be so much more, if you’d only been somewhere else, with a soulmate who knew everything you’d been through, and never judged any of your actions because it was the only thing you could do at that time.
Death Diviner doesn’t provide the answers. The Feverish Trilogy doesn’t provide the answers. But they provide a ”What if?” that might change your life."

So glad that I found this song through Spotify.

SAME DUDE IT'S AMAZING
That riff is very lateralaus like. Brilliant song.
I was thinking that verse riff sounded Tool. Couldn't think of the song though.
Reminds me of a Tool and Mastodon mix 🤘
That's exactly what I was thinking...Lateralus and Planet of Zeus a lot!
Glad I’m not the only one that could hear some Tool in there... just couldn’t place the song
Same, right off the bat. But it's good! 🤘
The last Soilwork album I listened to was Stabbing the Drama. I got burned out on metal for a long, long time. I randomly looked them up the other day and listened to this song and was blown away. This is incredible. Then I saw that David died... it's been a rollercoaster of emotions rediscovering Soilwork. I hope they stay together, I'd love to see them live again almost 20 years later.
I started with Stabbing the Drama. Never seen them live though. JFC just checked they are coming to my town in 6 weeks what?
They’ll stay together but David is a heavy loss (not only) for their music, considering he is credited for writing masterpieces like this one 😢
These cats have been one of my favorites since steel bath suicide. I don't get many new albums to look forward to each year, but I can always count on Soilwork to deliver.
I adored Figure Number Five and Stabbing the Drama during my late teen years but kind of fell out of love with Soil works sound after Great Divide onwards. I mean there than Bjorn singing and Sven on Keys after Divide but otherwise it was a completely different band after that, and you can clearly hear the difference!
Recently been listening to the later stuff and I'm now enjoying it, including this epic one!
Can't wait to see them with In Flames in Manchester next year! I've wanted to see both Swedish juggernauts for over 20 years!
In my opinion this is one of the greatest metal songs ever written 🤟🏻
Agree
I truly agree. Björn really made a godlike performance! I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes, it really hits the soft spot...
@@Raggass same brother
This is bad ass
I think this is correct.
That voice! Perfection.
That double-bass drum -speed-change. holy fuck! 😍. Awesome riff and vocals too.
yeah, the drums on this song is next level, that little "speedboost" on the chorus, even tho its just a minor thing, but damn does that just solidify the beats on this song
YES! It is SO exhilarating!
My God Bjorn's voice is just next level. Would really like to see him and Howard Jones do a song together
This!!!!!!
throw in some Matt Heafy
@@holdenshort8828 oh man, that would be very complementary I think, would love to hear this!
Jesse leech is what you meant it's ok I know people make mistakes
Jeff Scott Soto.
Got my blessings from a death diviner
Cut my shackles with the force of life
That slipped away
Oh, and left me drained
Fox-feline furs and cane room dividers
Huddling silently until her ghost
Was whisked away
Oh, but I remained
When the skies remained an empty threat above me
But the weight of everything that came to pass
Brought me down to kneel before the death diviner
In the hope that she would make me free at last
Saw my future with the death diviner
My reflection in her eyes drew up
My twisted past
Oh, I came unmasked
When the skies remained an empty threat above me
But the weight of everything that came to pass
Brought me down to kneel before the death diviner
In the hope that she would make me free at last
When the skies remained an empty threat above me
But the weight of everything that came to pass
Brought me down to kneel before the death diviner
In the hope that she would make me feel free at last
faux or fox?
How can Bjørns vocals just get better for every year that passes? Is there a limit? Damn, that man has some pipes.
The song gives me chills that bridge pulls so many emotions from me.
How am I just now finding this band? Damn this is seriously killer!
🤘😎🤘
Speed Strid's vox are angelic! 👼
This song truly revitalized my very soul. Unique sound charged with amazing energy! Glad a friend showed this one to me.
One of the catchiest metal choruses I’ve ever heard
That intro is really sounding a lot like TOOL - Schism, really loving this track. \m/
The double bass riff in the chorus makes this song different and 👍 great.
Out of the newer Soilwork songs (sorry, I generally prefer the older ones), this one is definitely the best. The high notes in vocals... pure epicness.
RIP, Dr. Dave. Bright memory!
Just discovered this song and band. I don't know how I haven't heard of them until now....... This song is amazing. My new #1
So great. Insane guitar work, drums (the rippling bass drums thrilled me) and vocals. This song randomly coming on my Spotify has now turned me on to the rest of your material!
This is 100% the best sounding sound I have ever found. God I love it so much.
God I love me some Soilwork. This song is so fucking epic.
Came across this one a few months ago and always come back.the vocals are just too good!
I'd never heard of Soilwork until I got Spotify and it recommended this song to me since I like Ghost. Such a beautiful work. Thank you!
That’s how I found them too!
Masterpiece amazing song 🤘👌
Super!
Bjorns vocals, just god like.

That chorus
When he like growl/screams OOOOH man that shit gets me fired up. What an epic song man! vocals and instrumentals of the hook.
RIP, Dr. Dave.
soilwork is always a banger, love swedish bros
So glad that I found this song through @66Samus drumming stream.
The best song of Soilwork.
Probably one of the most underrated songs that I have ever experienced in my lifetime.
This song never gets old
Thanks Spotify... awsome song
wicked tune
I found this band by listening to In flames back in the day with their song Rejection Role… For years In Flames was my favorite Death Metal Band.. but damn, it eventually shifted to Soilwork… just so damn good.
Good to see Bjorn still at it years later. Been my favorite melodeath singer for well over a decade 👍
One time at like 1130 I was so fucking tired bit couldn't sleep. I threw this on and just sat their listening. I saw God in that moment. I'll never forget that experience.
This is insanely awesome! Have always like Soilwork’s stuff. But damn, this is on a whole new level. 🤘🏼
Holy crap. Epic! So powerful and emotional music and voice
Ohhhh this will make me day after i lost my pet yesterday and my boss was being a dick. Bring on the Greatness!
Sorry to hear
@@FREGFAT RIP from 🇫🇷
Rest In Peace animal friend of this person. Fuck your boss.... he ain’t metal
@@mistersudz102 hahaha no he isn't and Thank You! 👍
Sorry about you pet, hope you feel better after this atleast
Dear Lord. I've known for a long time that Soilwork has been my favorite band. This just confirms it even more. Very few bands can do it for as long as they have, and they haven't strayed at all from putting out bad ass metal poetry since their inception. Sure wish you guys could travel closer to my area. Much love from small town east TX.
This song is so good!🤘
Thank you, I needed this.
Brilliant
This song is a testament to how amazing this band is and how far Melodic Death Metal has come
Brilliant song!
They have the sound of a big band
They need more songs like this! This is great.
badass jam
The main riff is pretty Tool-ish. Good song though - I especially like the vocals.
I know the pieces fit...
haha we have the same thought
@@Jefafa824 hahahahahaha😂
Agree, vocals incredible
Was looking for this comment lol
WHOA! Incredible lead vocals....damn!
Love the song, love the vintage look of the video. 10/10!
Hell yeah I love their sound.. wanna hear more..plz!
One the best metal songs ever recorded. Bar none
This song is transcendent
I thought this song was some old-school stuff until I finally found this. I have a mod for Fallout 4 called Metal FM and this is one of the tracks and I absolutely love this song
Wish I kept up with this band more over the years.
Do it now, buy their stuff and be a soilworker
I love how they linked this video with the Feverish video....sick
Soilwork knocked it out of the park with this one goddamn
One of my favorites from soilwork
Thank God for Soilwork. That is all.
Love these Guys. They Haven't made a misstep in many years now.
Was just listening to some new times of grace and this came on through Spotify and holy hell I fell in love. Haven't listened these guys in a while but hell I should have been 😮
Just listened to this on Spotify and I love this song
That drum solo at 3:19 🤘
Björn's voice hits harder than in any previous albums as time goes on.
I’m telling ya they are the most underrated metal band ever!! More consistent than anyone out there and bjorn works his ass off
Nah, they're right with In Flames, At the Gates and Dark Tranquility as the posterboys for Melodic Death Metal
Björn is amazing man!
A master in the way of the voice
The whole band is amazing!
loved this band from the moment i heard them and even his side projects, just an amazing singer
i fall in love with this song, it´s amazing
These guys are holding up better than In Flames.
That's an understatement...
I love blasting this song in my ears
I thought nerve was the best song.... How wrong I can be? THIS IS INSANE!
DAMN! This song is amazing!
Fantastic!!!! I think last time saw Soilwork was 2005 Ozzfest, did follow their music but past couple albums I missed out on.....this track caught my attention....excellent vocals as always. Just caught up with Feverish and Desperado, very cool trilogy...now got to watch all three a few more times to take it all in..some very cool standout guitar work in the vids. The drumming is always outstanding...definitely be paying closer attention to Soilwork
How can this song only have two riffs but yet still be so awesome
Because Soilwork is fucking brilliant!
great! fucking great
Fucking Sick!!! Love Soilwork's music!
Magnifique🤩🎶🎵!!
I just love you all...every single person in this band is a great musician. The technique, arrangement, vibe and the dynamics. Everything you do is so pure and sincere... And of course Bjorn is my favorite vocalist of all times ❤️ Never enough of Soilwork and Nightflight Orchestra... Even though you wrote music I can listen for a lifetime...it just isn't enough. Sometimes The World Ain't Enough 😅
Heard this song in my mix. Really thought this was Howard Jones. Great song
Sounds nothing like him but okay.
@@KalosPVP that's your opinion. To each their own. 😎
Not an opinion. Objectively does not sound like him. Fix your ears.
This chorus is so catchy
Increíble 🤘🤘🍻🍻. Saludos desde Ecuador 🇪🇨
You guys have absolutely topped yourselves - this is one of your best tracks ever!
Muchas gracias por tan grandiosa canción
Soilwork is simply UnfuckinReal
New soilwork!? Awesome 🤘
Still today I got the "why do you have to listen to that song so much!?" from the boss lmao
I paused in the middle of this vid., cause one the thought I want to share with you...exactly this night I woke up with this idea for the first time - and I won't be rude to cancel it - ... I was struck with an vision, probably part of a dream, that one of the highest initiation made for some chosen people - is to gather the up in secret place or field. By the music along with it they walk simultanous steps making ... coincidental
I googled them and their Listed as a Swedish Melodic Death Metal Band
@George Planter I don't think they sound like a death metal band i think they sound more like heavy metal if anything
Man I miss this band
Love the groove in the bluesy feel
Holy shit! What a great song 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
I can't stop listening to this song, Is so f*cking awesome
Great song soilwork keeping amaze us greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹
The intro riff sounds like a cross between Tool and Wintersun
Or like Nickelback - Burn it to the ground
2 of the best bands out there
How do you get wintersun from this? Lmao. It sounds like Soilwork and it sounds amazing. Better then ever
