It's a bit late but to correct something here: it's not a city builder, it's a state builder! Multiple towns, villages and cities are created on a very large map with each their own specialisation and transport those goods. For example to run food factories and farms just a small town is enough but to let a steelmill run at max you just need a city for that alone and seeing that making enough food requires lots of space villages are easier to maintain. Also a mining village can be way better to keep the mines running and having bare essentials while having a bus/train route to the larger town or city in the valley below for the more advanced needs like a hospital. So yeah, it's a bit bigger is scale then a city builder

By the way, I noticed for this game, the reason some buildings have more of a "footprint" is that it changes according to how much land you need to have leveled. If the area you want to place the building is perfectly leveled, the building will more-or-less only take up the size it actually is. I've never read the seminal works of the Soviet way...is any of that legal? I've always been under the impression that it is "a great idea badly carried out", to use a poisoned phrase. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" sounds amazing...but it never seemed to work out that way. I mean, religion was illegal so that everyone worshiped BB, and BB figured "kill the lot of 'em" b/c he was such a collosal asshole through his life he figured he had 10K enemies just waiting for their chance to take him out. But if your version of "Communism/Socialism" were the real one, I'd totally support it...other than the religion bit--nothing is more divisive and useless...

I have just received this game as one from my family, because it was on my Steam Wishlist. I tried to play the Tutorial, but found it a bit confusing and disappointing. Then I decided I had better watch some video clips on my TV UA-cam channel. Many I watched were too fast for me to follow, then I found yours. Your series has inspired me to give it another go. So Thanks for your style of presentation.
I've left this aside because I've grown tired of city builders (Cities:Skylines mostly) but this game looks really in-depth. I'll keep an eye on this one.
Thank goodness for your walkthrough, I was having some issues in this game that the tutorial doesn't teach, for instance the neighboring area's. I am now starting over right where you did.
Good Morning, Thanks for this brilliant Guide/Tutorial into getting a nation onto their knees! I followed your "steps" and got it 99% up and running but it was not long before I noticed that the conveyor belt "stopped" although it was running prior to stopping. I erected 2 conveyor belts between the power station & the plant but only see one running. Maybe a large storage facility is needed, & my question is where would be the best place to put it into the supply link? Between the power station & the plant or between the mine & the conveyor belt or maybe between the conveyor belt and the plant? PS It is because of this video that I went & purchased this software on my Steam Account. Have a nice day!

Coming from the future now ”Welcome to a new mini let's play!”
Mini 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I used the large bay for my main port and had a airport nearby
Perfect username for this game...
I work at a grain storage facility (grain elevator) IRL, it's super neat to have a game finally address them as something more than just a warehouse or something
I was 0.3 seconds from clicking away because I assumed it was a russian language video. Saved yourself just in time bro
goodfilmful same lol
"The buildings look... like... you know...eh...like people can leave there" is the best description of Brutalist/Constructivist architecture I have heard in a long time
You mean that ugliness Chruszhev created in USSR in 1960ties as 'solution to free housing to all challenge' now has fancy name , Brutalist/Constructivist architecture ?
Well. That is fun , actually.
@@honkerbonker6700 The Brutalist style is closely related to the Constructivism. Le Corbusier is one of the most famous Brutalists
This music is spot on
"Welcome a new mini let's play."
At the time of view this series has surpassed 150 episodes, nearly all of them about an hour long. That is roughly 6.25 days of non-stop content.
This is awesome. Thanks for the vid comrad
I will have a SSR under my conditions:
The Carlist Doctrine
1. Religion is legal. (Religious Rights)
2. No one gets killed. (Human Rights)
3. All supply stores will be near workplaces. (Freedom of Needs)
4. All media will be legal. (Freedom of Speech)
"Welcome to the beginning of a MINI let's play"
Glad to see it aged well.
Haha yeah I ended up falling in love with the game, and 10 episodes became 200
@@PartyElite I really don't mind these kind of mini series, lol.
Going to take a bit to catch up though.
I love his complete refusal to use curves to end a road, and instead it instantly stops. Imagine how much people would just drive off the ends...
My republic= drive off the road? Comrade your only way of transportation are trains, ambulance, state determined bus, and your own legs! There is no way you could drive off the road!
ah yes the ol' 55-44 split
If your “mini” let’s plays are 217 episodes, how many episodes are your full playthroughs?
Good job Comrade
Thanks for your content, I purchased the game yesterday and Im starting to learn, its actually quite relaxing. Need something for when I take a break from CK3, which is not relaxing.
Man, your OCD is killing me
More useful than the tutorial and much more entertaining. Thanks comrade :^)
I look forward to seeing a fully developed megalopolis.
RAF-2203 Latvija was also used as an ambulance. This game reminds me of my childhood :)
Him:I wanna build a glorious nation
America:you have oil?
Ah yes welcome to this mini series. It's 196 episodes. I am afraid what this man qualifies as a long series-
I've left this aside because I've grown tired of city builders (Cities:Skylines mostly) but this game looks really in-depth. I'll keep an eye on this one.
Yeah it caught me by surprise and it's a city builder I've enjoyed more than I'd initially expected to!
Thank goodness for your walkthrough, I was having some issues in this game that the tutorial doesn't teach, for instance the neighboring area's. I am now starting over right where you did.
We want. Or rather i would love to see more of it when it fully comes out. After all i am russian.
Me too my parents were Kazakh and most of my city is from russia, a lot of the chelyabinsk area and head stories about living in the projects
