Gebre Menfes Kidus agree with you! I use to listen to October all the time, IMO one of their most intriguing and unique albums. How special is Tomorrow?

I was 18 and this was my first Rock Werchter, looked forward to it for months. My girlfriend would meet me at the festival. But when we met, she broke up with me. The girl I had a crush on since I was 15 , the future mother of my unborn children, just dumped me. I walked on the festival like a zombie, couldn't get why she did it and then this concert started. Wow, this was new, excited, full of energy, unseen, the future of rock music, it made me forget my sorrows en even to this day, I will mention it as the best gig I ever saw. This is one of the most interesting comments I have ever seen on a UA-cam video. It's very cool of you to share such a personal memory, and that is just the 1st paragraph. When I clicked "Read More", I was pleasantly surprised by the happy ending. At 55 years old, I feel this kind of deep personal connection to live music has been lost in the "Tweets & Likes" culture in which we now live... so nice to know that there is still someone out there who can share a story that really connects their life to a concert so long ago. 34 years together. Wow, thank you for sharing such a wonderful story.
Us U2 die hard fans from so long ago we gotta understand they have followed their path and inevitably progressed from the punk era into the more rock n roll genre and following their passions into the new world and trying to stay reverent. They’ve lost nothing but gained their identity as one of the the most influential sounds in alternative rock. Agree Bono’s range and voice is at its best during the Unforgettable Fire era.Achtung was a great example of reinventing along with new sound and look and it was awesome. More philosophy and catchy lyrics along with Edge finding his own sound, Larry’s drums just get better and Adam finds his own style with fingers and pic- all in all 4 boys coming together in one harmonious sound..the world’s best. And still are rocking true U2 with “ it’s the little things that give you away “ my favourite so far in their new phase of expression. I agree they still have one more “ Pop” or “Unforgettable Fire” lurking somewhere. Best the world has ever seen, always.

I can't get over how young and talented they were at this point, and to have this incredible level of complexity in their music compositions. yup, it's just so stellar, the guitar work, the drums, bass, the singing, the atmosphere of the songs... to me one of the great appeals to it is the faith that pours out of those songs. In a way it is U2 at their purest, having to rely entirely on faith and belief, and they grow wings from that place to fly so high.
